Thank you for visiting my country Botswana. The waters you see at 6:22 to around 8 minutes, that’s the Okavango Delta. It is the largest inland Delta in the world ❤ 🇧🇼
This place has just moved up to number one on my bucket list. I've paused around 24:00 -25:36, noticing a large Buffalo drinking water off in the distance! It's absolutely amazing.
The main building and villa look phenomenal; an after-dinner whiskey while sitting in one of those stuffed chairs by the iron fireplace would surely be the perfect way to finish a day. Speaking of food - it looked fantastic as well; nice hearty dinners especially, and the burger in that welcome lunch looked great also. Nice tranquil spa area; some of the other accommodations (pool and gym) were adequate, if not spectacular. The star of the show has to be those wildlife excursions!
I am following you for a very long time. This is one of the most cinematic videos you've ever made! The lenses you use (and the whole equipment, no doubt!) provide an amazing "deepness" and beauty to every single frame. Just wow, man! WOW!
I do believe places like this reach out and "find " us. It's as if these places and these journeys/adventures know we are called to come and experience this moment in this life we are given. It's the untamed places like Africa stay this way, are maintained this way, and endure for the ages. Thanks for the ride. Travel safe.
Absolutely superb. I'm curious, Doc. You've visited multiple amazing resorts like this in Africa. And you've also visited multiple amazing resorts in the Maldives. It would seem that you are a huge fan of both types of resorts. But do you have a preference for one over the other?
And what could possibly be cuter than a baby elephant?😊 I love flying in a small plane because of all you can see! You also feel much more connected to the experience!! You see how very much more beautiful the earth is than one thinks! Being in a tin tube at 30000 feet just feels like sitting in a dentist's waiting office for a few hours. Lol! Although I love the take offs! I digress, dear LTE ... this is beautiful. The magnificence of the big cats always is breathtaking!! Thank you for bringing us along! Looking very much forward to next week! Happy travels!
Thanks mate, another fantastic video, such a lovely place, a quick hop, skip[ and jump and you would be at Victoria Falls, have you been there ? My country of birth, it was once great, not so much now.
Another fantastic location. Given the shallow waters, I was a bit surprised to see outboard motors used on the boats. This seems like a good place to use swamp-boats typical of Florida.
Thank you so much for this irrestitible inspiration. This pearl in the Okawanga Delta is added to my bucket list immediately. What I still wonder about while enjoying your pan shots: Being located in the pretty swampy Delta region, what about mosquitos "visiting" the open structures of the accomodations.
Thank you so much for sharing. This brought back so many memories of our trip to a private game reserve in Sabi Sands in SA. One of the best things we have ever done. Nothing can compare to having a lion stand right beside a jeep like the one you wwre on. Seeing all the amazing animals. The amazing food. And the fun of being in a little plane toddling along the taxi ways in JNB with all the big jets and landing on a dirt air strip. We have been blessed to do some amazing trips like ride camels in the Sinai Desert and the SA trip was one of our favourites. Given all the water i would assume malaria tabs would be a must? We would love to do another safari but we discovered the malaria pills make me violently ill. I had to stop taking them. Luckily Sabi Sands is low with malaria. Thanks again. This was awesome.
Hey Traveler. No wonder your Executive Staff stay with The Firm. The Perks are Exceptional. Gonna spoil the Junior Executive once again !! It's truly beautiful. They built the Property "Around and Within" the land, they did not build it "On" the land. From the size of the greenery and canopy, they did not remove living trees to build, but built within them. A Master Stroke of Genius. From Swimming in the Santorini Caldera to Angkor Wat, to the wilds of Botswana, our young executive is "Living the life !!" Here, Kitty, Kitty, Kitty !!! Did you know that in Canada, we have "house hippos??" And we close with an Amazing Jao Sunset. (AKA the Million Dollar Sunset) shot.

You once posted a video about three eco resorts in Africa, very beautiful. I think it was in Botswana, Zambia, and South-Africa. 3 eco resorts in one trip. Was great to look at each time, but I can't find that video in your listed videos. Would you maybe consider a repost of that video? Or is this video still up and I missing it? Just wondering.
I’ve posted several separate videos about eco lodges in Zambia with Time + Tide (these videos are still online and can also be found in my Zambia play list)
@@luxurytravelexpert Thank you very much. I also watching always those ones at night, but the one with 3 eco resorts with safari on resorts in 3 different countries in one video was the amazing one I was talking about. I liked also the resort hopping between the 3 different countries in that particular one. But I like these videos too.
Got to love the question @ 14:50 - “have you every stayed at Jao” Lol. This guy. He thinks these places he visits are for normal people. Not a single non-multi-millionaire in Botswana or South Africa can afford to go to this lovely place in their own country. This place is an avg of $2,500 per person, per night. Thats more than 99% of every citizen in SA or Botswana earns in multiple years. For just 1 night. He is delusional.
@@JosephSchmidtfan its a realistic statement. This Dr travels the world, staying in hotels and resorts that literally 0.00000001% of humans can afford or will ever stay in and he asks us simpletons on TH-cam if we have stayed here. Really?

Yep, I have to agree with you, but I still like watching his videos. They're of quality, and it's often times interesting to check out how the other half is living.
All of this wonderful technology makes it possible for me to see this planet in a whole new way. Africa's wildlife is unmatched🦁🦓🐘🦒🐅 Thanks for your beautiful videos.
Exceptional! Such a spectacular location, and the lodge designers have integrated the buildings so sensitively into the landscape.
This is a wonderful view of wildlife.
All that wildlife in such a small space, absolutely amazing. The food looked delectable too.
Waiting for you to bring us the best of all countries is a blessing to our eyes 👀. Thank you. ❤
Another cinematic masterpiece, I love the backing music you use and that place is just stunning!!
That is the most beautiful balcony/pool view I’ve ever seen on here. It’s like a painting
Botswana is the best in Africa regarding lodging and wildlife! 🤩🤩Thanks for sharing and bringing up memories! 😊😊🐷
A stunning lodge in one of the most beautiful places on earth, thanks for another excellent video.

How much per night? I've always wanted to visit Botswana since my trip to Tanzania😃
Very expensive. I just researched. But still worth the price in my opinion.
@@Mirandathelittlelamb Just checked, 3830 USD pp for premium season 🥵maybe worth it but I don't think I will be going😂
Question? What is the price for two people to stay on-site at Wilderness Jao Camp for 5 days
Depends on the season. Best would be to inquire via the Wilderness website
Please do the St Regis Resort at The Red Sea Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
🥰
The first thing I thought when seeing the land from the plane was: so much water, does that mean heaps of mosquitoes?
😮
Felicita Square
Botswana?
Yes 🇧🇼😄
Connelly Brooks
Lang Forest
Huel Fort
No mosquitoes?
They must be pouring tons of chemicals to kill them all
