At 14:10 777 plan deccelerate in clean configuration with reduced descend rate at around 500 FPM, which will start at the first green dot and end at the second green dot based from the pilot inputed speed and wind data, if it can't make it, DRAG REQUIRED will pop remind you to help the aircraft with speedbrake. For level deccelration, it will also calculated based around 10kts per 1nm, it's in FCTM.
Another amazing video! Just one part that had me crying on the floor 🤣🤣🤣 10:07 "Now the 777 has another very cool feature that OTHER 737's, LIKE THE 737 DOE..." ...Emmanuel having an audible brain fart... ..."Does not have" Good that you don't always take yourself seriously 😉Keep up the great work!
You always gather extremely efficient training packages - best minutes to spend on. Nothing futile, straight to the point. You would make an excellent trainer should some day insanity strike you in form of not wanting to fly anymore. Btw is your 777 pdf ready? Will buy it and not just because learning 777, but to support your efforts on FS-community.
Thanks for showing the click on the altitude knob. Does that work like altitude intervene on the 737? Will it remove restrictions ahead? Or initiate a climb after you’ve leveled off and reset? Also interesting that it goes to VNAV SPD for an early descent instead of PATH like the 737 does…
Driver, is the 777 considered a heavy or large, when it comes to parking? Also, on the E-book? Is it just a written guide or will it include examples? Also, will it include a cockpit guide as well. I assume there is a fee for this work, so just trying to see what it encompasses. Thank you for the great video series, it has really gotten me up to speed. I like the way it is segmented out in small chunks instead of long videos that can take hours.
Hi Emmanuel, I think your tutorials are outstanding and really helpful so I would like to tell you so. Will you ever be going live?, I would love to see that. Take care dude and keep up the great work! Michael
Hi Michael, I'm afraid I only have limited time available at the time where most people would be around to watch a stream. That's why I mostly do pre-recorded videos these days. ...and when I *did* finally have the time to stream the 777 two days ago, the sim decided to crash to desktop three times... Hopefully next week! Cheers, Emanuel
@@A330Driver Hi Emanuel, thank you ever so much for replying to me!, I totally understand and can only imagine how busy you are however when you do stream live I for one will watch! Thank you for all your great and intuitive video's they are awesome...they really are. Have a great weekend...again thankyou for replying. Michael.
So from my understanding, the plane goes down to the altitude i set when it reaches the TOD point right? But when the plane does reduce speed lets say down to 250 it stops the descending too. What am I doing wrong?

Off Path Descent is a neat feature. Thanks for the video.
Hey there, how do you manually activate VNAV SPD mode? Like in Airbus when you pull the speed knob while descending?
Very interesting, so much packed into 15 mins.

In 777 is very nice cabin, do you think they will redesign the cabin in 737s?
I really do not know, hopefully they will, but no gurantees.

Ive prepared everything accordingly to your videos! but every time ive tried, the plane does not descend automatically, is something wrong with it?
So from my understanding, the plane goes down to the altitude i set when it reaches the TOD point right? But when the plane does reduce speed lets say down to 250 it stops the descending too. What am I doing wrong?
What happens if you press ‘push’ on the altitude button to put a lower altitude and you are already descending ? Are we obligated to push it ?
I've made 7 flight's in the 777 since it released, I've already worn out the speed brake handle.
hahaha, that can happen indeed!
is there a reason why the aircraft would accelerate with almost full thrust on descent randomly?
That normally happens when your joystick overwrites the autothrottle.
@@A330Driver ah thanks, I will check for inputs next time, much appreciated
@@philipplutkiIf there is a throttle on your yoke/stick disable that in settings
Thanks a lot.
