I honestly don't think this game has ever been trash. Yeah it has issues, but the developers constantly work on and add to it, the gunplay feels excellent and satisfying to me, It might not ever be a game that you no-life for months on end to the exclusion of all other games, but it will always be a fun game to jump back into now and then and between playing other games.
The fact that you have one guy with a assault rifle throughout all the squads in the beginning is not even close to realistic. I've put in a good amount of time and I barely have gotten anything back in return. I don't have access to a aircraft so I'm constantly being bombed and every time I throw a explosive at a tank, it's like throwing a stuffed animal. Yet, a person with a flamethrower can one tap a tank in a second. Whoever thought about adding in a flamethrower is a fucking retard. People pay to win by just instantly skipping and buying the flamethrower with cash just to broom and dustpan players every single game. This game is horseshit. On top of that... only one soldier in all the squads with a scope on the rifle? This is not revolutionary war days brotha
I stopped playing cod and bf for this and I will Never regreat. Hoping one day they release the modern conflict mod as a stand-alone game set during cold war

They are more likely to implement a soldier tech tree and have you spend 2 years grinding XP points to unlock the next technology tier, only for you to be matched in a game with your tier III 1950s loadout with a players with tier VI 1990s navy seal loadouts.

Enlisted matches are either the most soul crushing, anger inducing, cock and ball torturing battles; or its the most intense, involved, film-like godsend of a video game ever devised.
I don't think the AI is a bad thing, I think its worth it because you need to grind a lot to get to the next level. Also to fully kill an enemy player you must basically kill his whole squad so at the end of the day it's like having multiple lives before you are actually dead.

I think the positive part of the game is the content and campaign aspect of the game. But as a war thunder player I am not surprised with the negative money aspects in terms of campaign passes. It has been confirmed they will be changing this layout which is interesting and cool, but there is one thing I think the game needs and that is the reduction of clunkyness in animations and ai soldier movement. I know this isn’t Gajin entertainments main game project but I do think if they refreshed the quality of the game I think they would greatly be infer from it. This is my dumb opinion though so fire away with corrections please😂
they have improved this game a ton and as the player count gets better, running into more human players will become frequent eliminating the ai based issues.

Didn't think that was dumb at all. The issues I would like to see addressed are graphics/animation quality, and tank game play. Compare the game world/special effects to something like HLL, and it is clear that Enlisted is not even close to being at the same level. And I get how they have to balance tank game play with foot soldier game play, but the vehicles need a lot of work in this game. I can't drive a Panther tank over a bomb crater on some maps.
Been playing game for 2+ years and have every campaign maxed/completed. Very few games have caught my attention and held my attention for this long. It’s just got some “it” factor that I find great. When you are in a full player match with ai, the game can be crazy. Try defending a point with 3+ players with their squads trying to push/capture it. It becomes very chaotic/sweaty/and fun. And the fact that you can jump around on different maps from different theaters of war on a dime is great also.
The new update made it a completely new game an your AI team is now completely retarded and will not engage. Also the cheating has gotten worse, I've only seen player controled characters do it so ik it's not some janky AI. Just recently I just wanted to re-download and give it a go and I can't even leave spawn because 1 guy wipes out my entire team with headshots before I fully load in with the new squad on respawn. It's just not as good as it used to be hands down.
It sound fun the way you put it but my only problem is that it seems fun and all but I read that the max number of players in a match is 20, 10vs10, that made me sceptical about the game
Next update is removing campaigns and only having faction progression, so when you que as Germany your map may be in many different theatres of war. The update is primarily to address the issue of splitting the player base between 6 campaigns.
Wait what??? How can you justify putting Normandy equipment in Tunisia for example? That sounds like it will completely trash the historical accuracy of the game. But at the same time I'm exited to play new maps instead of always the same fucking maps over and over xD

And im sure people will have plenty of private lobbies that only allow historically accurate gear (assuming you can do that I haven't played in a while)
No, its not better. Plane and tank camp spam. Nowadays many times you can grind much more XP with destroy planes and tank, instead of try capture......

Enlisted reminds me much more of Red Orchestra than Hell Let Lose. Comparing it to HLL is way to much to ask for a free to play shooter. Not saying that any criticism is bad or shouldn't be made. I agree with a lot of points actually.

ammo management is actually good. they could add in an action where you are locked down like with reloading or healing and that would equalize your magazines. also idk what you're on with the sound and gunplay, for me it feels pretty good. **shrugs**

At the time you made this video, it had been announced for weeks if not months already, that they are combining progression among the same faction and reworking progression to be how you said you would prefer it to be, in the next month or two here.
Calling the game trash is completely unfair. It never really was trash its a very basic shooter that is friendly to new players with a learning curve that is simple. With these changes planned it most differently will get better. The fact the weapons are unique and not just the usual weapons in other "historical" ww2 shooter really helps with its character. Getting ride of the campaign progression is such a great idea. The events they do are so much easier then war thunders and allows the avg joe to easily earn them.
My guy the ammo system of mags is what makes it immersive and they are trying to make it more like a hell let lose/ squad type immersion so mentioning about that and how its not artificial like a battlefield game is off. I think mag tracking makes me feel more like a soldier in a battlefield. I liked alot of other things you said though especially the part about 3 different Russian campaigns having their own progression when they should be combined. Good luck with your channel!
@@michaelzomsuv3631Gaijin just has to be careful with how far they push it. If they go too far into the HLL style… there’s a reason many don’t consider HLL “fun” anymore. Enlisted has a good thing going, just some updates to make AI more intelligent about cover and lines of fire, and movement updated to make things like climbing and running feel better (especially climbing, trying to climb through windows can be hell), and it should both be a much better game, and preserve the identity it has cultivated for itself as a game.
The ammo system I actually prefer, it makes it more realistic and you have to manage your ammo better. The amount of mags you have is definitely something you should see though
“Is Enlisted still trash?” It never really was..? It’s got a good roadmap, good gameplay loop with decent large map design. It’s an enjoyable blend of tacticality and arcade. It could use some improvements but that comes with time
Well Enlisted still will have the Japanese and Italians after the campaign rework. HLL lacks both nations. Also Enlisted will supposedly get two new campaigns this year and with that new nations

I do like the way they do the player characters and squads as well as the respawn its very unique to me and it feels like I'm back in the action. I do wish the ai were better. I definitely shot 1890 killed it another one immediately walked up to where the other one was and just stood there as if taking the same position to be shot
That's why you count your shots when firing your weapon. First thing you learn when learning about firearms except treat ever weapon as loaded until you check it yourself. That and it's a free to play game that plays good for what it is. I like the fact that if you fire 6 shots from a mag and then change it it puts a new mag in and cycles the old mag just like in real life. You don't have a counter in real life in the bottom right corner to tell you what each clip has in it. Learn to count your shots instead of just spray and pray and expect the game to give you a full mag by just adding the 6 rounds you used!!!!
Its a fun blast, I like it even though it is still in beta ofc ... but I do hate the Ai soldiers who have an uncanny ability to see you from long distances, when you're hiding, and single shot you. That must change because it is infuriating and totally unfair which means the match is unbalanced.
Here's the biggest issue to me. When I tell my radio OP or sniper to hang in a good spot. When I give radio command or switch to a sniper. Then switch back to another squad member they lose that position order, run out and die.
The problem have with it is just the clunkyness of the game. The animations aren’t it. I still like the game and I know there not the richest company, so this is my dumb opinion fire away with corrections please😂
Its a little janky, but honestly it's a fun pretty mindless shooter. i do hope they beef up the ai a bit, but the scale definitely feels more appropriate with their inclusion
28 days of playtime here, right now the game is in a sorry state with progression and AI as well as loadout bugs. Hopefully the overhaul will fix the progression, upgrade the bots and the new UI will help give the game a new look. We will see nice video
Some very valid points in this review. I've been sinking a lot of time into Enlisted lately with some friends. The progression system is confusing, the amount of premium stuff tacked on is a bit sickly and the gunplay etc is quite basic. Hopefully the revised skill tree will fix a lot of these issues and unify all the unlocks into one simple XP system. HOWEVER one thing I can't stress enough is the fun factor when playing with friends. I don't always want to sweat it out in HLL spending most of my evening looking at the redeploy screen. Post Scriptum is pretty much dead, so that's a waste of time these days. Enlisted's bots are dumb as hell, yes, but - slamming a HE round from my Sherman with the coax 30 cal and turret mounted 50 cal and seeing the kill streaks add up - it's just great fun for a chill evening with friends. Up until recently I didn't spend a penny on the game, until they offered a 95% discount for premium for the year, so took that at a whopping £16. I've spent way more money on 'better' games that I played for 5 hours and then never returned to. If you enjoy WW2 shooters, can excuse some creative liberties taken with historical accuracy, and just want some fun on an evening, I'd give Enlisted a shot. The starter weapons are plenty capable and with a few hours gameplay you'll have the M1 garand unlocked, so you can just slap it on every squad you have.
Few hours? Dude made a new account and go fight against MG42s/BAR/Flamethrowers/PPSH42s and Tiger/sherman/Is2 with your springfield 1903/Kar98k and your starter tanks.
For some1 who plays video games once in a blue moon due to lack of time, it's pretty fun. Shooting/sniping AI, some players, riding tanks & flying planes. Good timepass.
I think its fantastic. You have approached this with the wrong perspective. The squad ai is constantly getting better to, it can be annoying on occasion, and if a play knows how to position their ai and uses them as what is effectively a spawn point, they can be pretty effective. Yes they will 100% get mowed down by a player in close proximity with soemthing full auto.
people complain about clumsy movements, to have more arcade games there are multiple options like Cod, battlefield, etc. I like that it is immersive, it must not be easy to run with equipment and weight, For me this is a gem and I hope they perfect it.
Enlisted has never been trash, and even if you thought it was bad "way back when", it's definitely not bad now. You don't mention how the devs are really listening to players and making the changes we've always wanted to see, and the future of this game is really looking up - the grind is being reduced, it's STILL free. The "P2W" aspect you talk of is being completely removed too, as matchmaking will be decided on weapon quality, so you will (very soon) get no physical advantage over enemies. And then you talk about how many campaigns there are, this coming merge will fix all of that too, making you play as FACTIONS rather than loads of different campaigns. The grind will be MASSIVELY reduced as a result. A lot of the things you say can be attributed to the fact that the game is becoming more arcadey on purpose, just historically-based. Animations/sounds need some work yes you are correct, but are being improved over time. The AI are dumb yes, but will be improved as is being said. I'm not saying many of your criticisms are wrong, but 75% of the things you talk negatively of the game will be fixed in coming months, and the other 25% will take some extra time but are not super problematic.
Tbf if ur Gonnu criticise the campaign system u need to also note the new incoming update which will change the campaign system to a match making system based on the tier of ur squad, like war thunder
If you're gonna play the game, know that in some campaign like tunisia, 99% of the game you played are filled with bots, you have about 2 real players on your team and the rest are bots. So good luck, I have been having about 20 fucking lost in a row now because of it.
It feels like you don't understand that the weapons got more powerful as WWII went on and they had to do something to balance the weapons hence in some campaigns as the Germans you can get an mg42 and another campaigns the best machine gun you can get his mg 34 there's a big difference....

the progression argument is as flimsy as a styrofoam hammer, they're ac ouple months away from reowrking basically every bit of progression, every nation will unlock all of it's equipment for every battle they will fight
I think Gaijin has pretty much nailed it with Enlisted. While the game has issues, it is obviously not finished, and the player base can expect to see continuous improvements going forward. I also think the AI is a very important element, and that the game would be a lot less enjoyable without it. Where games like Post Scriptum suffer from low density action due to its smaller player base, AI helps to maintain a high level of action density across multiple simultaneous matches. The AI also helps new/less skilled players to also enjoy getting into the fight, which helps attract more players and increase the player base. I played WT for years without ever spending a dime. Enlisted is something I will actually pay to support as long as we keep seeing improvements.
Not sure about attracting more players, because the Ai in this game is just brain dead. One of the reasons why i quit. But still this game is actually better than bf and cod combined for me personal also got my share of fun out of it
@@cococock2418 I get how that comes across. But the model does work if you try to use it to your advantage. In reality, the bots can also turn into real players as long as the player positions his/her Ai so that they are not just killed off after he/she dies. If the player doesn't use the Ai like they were intended, then yeah, the 5 bots following him/her are sure to fall almost at the same time as the player. But if the player uses the Ai to create useful respon points, then the player and his Ai squad can have a much bigger impact on the battle. And if everyone did that, then nearly 99% of the enemies would be real players. I challenge you to give it another try using the Ai more as spawn points instead of just having them follow the leader to their death.
I played this "shit" from 2021, things you "forget": Negativ: - Classic free to play game, use the "losing streaks for frustration". What means that? First 50-100 battle okey, ussualy win the games, after that you got massive losing streaks. Why ? Simple. Mybe you pay some money. - Boosters ???? B...tch pls. Lose the games. Onyl (!) with boosters. Why ? To lose the advantage in grind. - This game made for War Thunder players. What it means ? You try the infantry push, but you got plane and tank camper spam. Planes drop big bombs, tanks camp in the dead zone of map (where you can't move). Typical 20 IQ players with zero aim controll. If they could, play only tanks and plane... - Very - very unbalanced battles. And that's direct it. When I lose games, I'm the best ussualy, but I got less XP because lose. If I win, I'm just an average player in a strong team, I cant make many XP. - To many passive weapon: arty, bombing run, mines (for every soilder), to many explosive item. The Normandy campaing is horror, full out of realism, its "directed by Michael Bay..." - Many "давальдавальдаваль" playes. Less the then 20 IQ. - The cap area is small. Many times the game is "run and die" simulator. - The high level players beat easily you. Positive thing: - Many - many different weapon. I feel like the game's progression is good and fair, the ai while bad can surprise you at times, it's an easy game to get used to and play, and its as cinematic as bf1
u can play this solo and its actually fun and u can do the daily missions in solo and learn the maps. grind is slow of course but u can play pvp whenever u feel like and its winnable even as a beginner without any money paid.
You review seemed really frustrated... So i tried the game, bow i'm surprised by how much your review is actually accurate, i tried Enlisted on PS5, there are some weird peak brightness in the game, some areas the graphics are really nice, some other is straight up shit, it's a shame because it could be a good game tbh, the P2W aspect is totally garbage.
countless nerfs and then the economy nerfs which make it significantly harder than it use to be to max out squads :/ I wish I had maxed out all my campaigns before they changed the leveling for AI squads because its so annoying all these changes which only hurt F2P players... :/
I stopped playing after a few hours, the grind was obscene to essentially access more of the game. Vehicle play is basically don't bother until you have the best tanks/bombers, cause there's limited amount of vehicle slots per team and the lowest grade tank will lose 10 out of 10 times when fighting a better tank.
I got the appeal of it being a free to play game but for me, it was always trash. It felt like the enemy AI would just walk into my bullets even when I had a tank.
It felt better a year ago when the ttk was 1 or 2 shots and explosives were deadly. And the AI was insane and knew where you were. Now the ai is terrible, the ttk is god awful & the match making is god awful. Worst shooter i think i ever played
The game to me was never trash, the gun play is simple and user friendly, the ai make it more of a ww2 arcade mass shooter then competitive shooter like everything else these days. And since the games are so big win loss never becomes a worry to me only goofing around and killing the enemy with uniques weapons
For me the point is that the game is free. All the other FPS games have huge player bases and lots of time to improve and develop their games over several releases. For a free game that has a small player base this is quite decent. I can't tell the future, but I can pray that the developers will put more time into the game and that the community will continue to give its input.
I think this can be a really good game and compete with HLL if they put in as much work they do in war thunder. Imagine HLL with war thunder vehicles damage and destruction.
I’m on PS4 and it similar here to, I find there is just way to many controls but not enough buttons to be even be placed on controllers. I can’t really lean or use the countless other controls without having to completely remap and have some over lapping controls to make use of it.

You made a lot of fair points. However, they are reworking the progression, matchmaking and campaign systems so many of your points might become outdated. You should have made this video after the next big update. I like the game, but I must admit that it has problems.
I dont even think their system is for microtransations... why? Because... all premium staff is also locked for campaign. I dont really know anyone who would buy virtually the same squads in different campaigns, lol
Bloom is a common mechanic across lots of different shooters. It adds depth to the gunplay and a skill gap for players to leverage. If you are struggling with it, made you need to spend some time reflecting on your ability as a player.
I like enlisted because of the feeling of being a soviet soldier in Stalingrad looking out of a window and seeing 20 German infantry rushing the capture point and not immediately being cross map sniped by a live player camping the highest building of the map
I have played Enlisted from the beginning and IT HAS NEVER BEEN TRASH!!! Its a great game and is constantly being upgraded. As someone who appreciates historical accuracy and realistic bullet dynamics Enlisted is really underrated!!!
By the time of this video release i believe they already announced they are merging campaigns where you dont have to level each campaign rather than starting over

I actually like the mix of pvp and pve in games, even for people who are bad in games like this can perform well. Its not meant to be a competive game. Its one of the few shooters where i actually can relax Only the grinding is a bit to much, but this game is defo better than bf and call of duty combined imo. We also need bigger maps because the bombing of airplaines is in some maps to awful Also bad gunplay ? I defo don't agree with that one.

I do enjoy Enlisted, but that enjoyment only lasts about a couple of matches until the whole experience just feels been there done that and bought the t shirt and hat. Compare the game world/special effects to something like HLL, and it is clear that Enlisted is not even close to being at the same level. And I get how they have to balance tank game play with foot soldier game play, but the vehicles need a lot of work in this game. I can't drive a Panther tank over a bomb crater on some maps.
Been playing game for 2+ years and have every campaign maxed/completed. Very few games have caught my attention and held my attention for this long. It’s just got some “it” factor that I find great. When you are in a full player match with ai, the game can be crazy. Try defending a point with 3+ players with their squads trying to push/capture it. It becomes very chaotic/sweaty/and fun. And the fact that you can jump around on different maps from different theaters of war on a dime is great also.

The new update made it a completely new game an your AI team is now completely retarded and will not engage. Also the cheating has gotten worse, I've only seen player controled characters do it so ik it's not some janky AI. Just recently I just wanted to re-download and give it a go and I can't even leave spawn because 1 guy wipes out my entire team with headshots before I fully load in with the new squad on respawn.
It's just not as good as it used to be hands down.
It sound fun the way you put it but my only problem is that it seems fun and all but I read that the max number of players in a match is 20, 10vs10, that made me sceptical about the game

Next update is removing campaigns and only having faction progression, so when you que as Germany your map may be in many different theatres of war. The update is primarily to address the issue of splitting the player base between 6 campaigns.

ammo management is actually good. they could add in an action where you are locked down like with reloading or healing and that would equalize your magazines. also idk what you're on with the sound and gunplay, for me it feels pretty good. **shrugs**

Calling the game trash is completely unfair. It never really was trash its a very basic shooter that is friendly to new players with a learning curve that is simple. With these changes planned it most differently will get better. The fact the weapons are unique and not just the usual weapons in other "historical" ww2 shooter really helps with its character. Getting ride of the campaign progression is such a great idea. The events they do are so much easier then war thunders and allows the avg joe to easily earn them.

My guy the ammo system of mags is what makes it immersive and they are trying to make it more like a hell let lose/ squad type immersion so mentioning about that and how its not artificial like a battlefield game is off. I think mag tracking makes me feel more like a soldier in a battlefield.
I liked alot of other things you said though especially the part about 3 different Russian campaigns having their own progression when they should be combined.

@@michaelzomsuv3631Gaijin just has to be careful with how far they push it. If they go too far into the HLL style… there’s a reason many don’t consider HLL “fun” anymore. Enlisted has a good thing going, just some updates to make AI more intelligent about cover and lines of fire, and movement updated to make things like climbing and running feel better (especially climbing, trying to climb through windows can be hell), and it should both be a much better game, and preserve the identity it has cultivated for itself as a game.

The ammo system I actually prefer, it makes it more realistic and you have to manage your ammo better. The amount of mags you have is definitely something you should see though
And I like how they coupled this with being able to either unlock a 2nd weapon, or knapsack to hold more ammo.

Main sell for me was that the game had campaigns that Hell Let Loose did not such as Tunisia but with the new roadmap that is no longer the case.
Well Enlisted still will have the Japanese and Italians after the campaign rework. HLL lacks both nations. Also Enlisted will supposedly get two new campaigns this year and with that new nations

What other free to play other than enlisted? I ONLY played Heroes and Generals and now that game just closed its servers for good. What can I play now?
I do like the way they do the player characters and squads as well as the respawn its very unique to me and it feels like I'm back in the action. I do wish the ai were better. I definitely shot 1890 killed it another one immediately walked up to where the other one was and just stood there as if taking the same position to be shot

That's why you count your shots when firing your weapon. First thing you learn when learning about firearms except treat ever weapon as loaded until you check it yourself. That and it's a free to play game that plays good for what it is. I like the fact that if you fire 6 shots from a mag and then change it it puts a new mag in and cycles the old mag just like in real life. You don't have a counter in real life in the bottom right corner to tell you what each clip has in it. Learn to count your shots instead of just spray and pray and expect the game to give you a full mag by just adding the 6 rounds you used!!!!
Its a fun blast, I like it even though it is still in beta ofc ... but I do hate the Ai soldiers who have an uncanny ability to see you from long distances, when you're hiding, and single shot you. That must change because it is infuriating and totally unfair which means the match is unbalanced.
Here's the biggest issue to me. When I tell my radio OP or sniper to hang in a good spot. When I give radio command or switch to a sniper. Then switch back to another squad member they lose that position order, run out and die.
The problem have with it is just the clunkyness of the game. The animations aren’t it. I still like the game and I know there not the richest company, so this is my dumb opinion fire away with corrections please😂
Its a little janky, but honestly it's a fun pretty mindless shooter. i do hope they beef up the ai a bit, but the scale definitely feels more appropriate with their inclusion
28 days of playtime here, right now the game is in a sorry state with progression and AI as well as loadout bugs. Hopefully the overhaul will fix the progression, upgrade the bots and the new UI will help give the game a new look. We will see

Some very valid points in this review. I've been sinking a lot of time into Enlisted lately with some friends. The progression system is confusing, the amount of premium stuff tacked on is a bit sickly and the gunplay etc is quite basic. Hopefully the revised skill tree will fix a lot of these issues and unify all the unlocks into one simple XP system. HOWEVER one thing I can't stress enough is the fun factor when playing with friends. I don't always want to sweat it out in HLL spending most of my evening looking at the redeploy screen. Post Scriptum is pretty much dead, so that's a waste of time these days.
Enlisted's bots are dumb as hell, yes, but - slamming a HE round from my Sherman with the coax 30 cal and turret mounted 50 cal and seeing the kill streaks add up - it's just great fun for a chill evening with friends. Up until recently I didn't spend a penny on the game, until they offered a 95% discount for premium for the year, so took that at a whopping £16. I've spent way more money on 'better' games that I played for 5 hours and then never returned to. If you enjoy WW2 shooters, can excuse some creative liberties taken with historical accuracy, and just want some fun on an evening, I'd give Enlisted a shot. The starter weapons are plenty capable and with a few hours gameplay you'll have the M1 garand unlocked, so you can just slap it on every squad you have.

Kar98k is a one hit kill like all bolt actions, I used it until level 29 on the Berlin campaign for all my troops except assaulters and guners

I think its fantastic. You have approached this with the wrong perspective. The squad ai is constantly getting better to, it can be annoying on occasion, and if a play knows how to position their ai and uses them as what is effectively a spawn point, they can be pretty effective. Yes they will 100% get mowed down by a player in close proximity with soemthing full auto.

Enlisted has never been trash, and even if you thought it was bad "way back when", it's definitely not bad now.
You don't mention how the devs are really listening to players and making the changes we've always wanted to see, and the future of this game is really looking up - the grind is being reduced, it's STILL free. The "P2W" aspect you talk of is being completely removed too, as matchmaking will be decided on weapon quality, so you will (very soon) get no physical advantage over enemies. And then you talk about how many campaigns there are, this coming merge will fix all of that too, making you play as FACTIONS rather than loads of different campaigns. The grind will be MASSIVELY reduced as a result.
A lot of the things you say can be attributed to the fact that the game is becoming more arcadey on purpose, just historically-based. Animations/sounds need some work yes you are correct, but are being improved over time. The AI are dumb yes, but will be improved as is being said. I'm not saying many of your criticisms are wrong, but 75% of the things you talk negatively of the game will be fixed in coming months, and the other 25% will take some extra time but are not super problematic.

Tbf if ur Gonnu criticise the campaign system u need to also note the new incoming update which will change the campaign system to a match making system based on the tier of ur squad, like war thunder
If you're gonna play the game, know that in some campaign like tunisia, 99% of the game you played are filled with bots, you have about 2 real players on your team and the rest are bots. So good luck, I have been having about 20 fucking lost in a row now because of it.
It feels like you don't understand that the weapons got more powerful as WWII went on and they had to do something to balance the weapons hence in some campaigns as the Germans you can get an mg42 and another campaigns the best machine gun you can get his mg 34 there's a big difference....

the progression argument is as flimsy as a styrofoam hammer, they're ac ouple months away from reowrking basically every bit of progression, every nation will unlock all of it's equipment for every battle they will fight
I think Gaijin has pretty much nailed it with Enlisted. While the game has issues, it is obviously not finished, and the player base can expect to see continuous improvements going forward. I also think the AI is a very important element, and that the game would be a lot less enjoyable without it. Where games like Post Scriptum suffer from low density action due to its smaller player base, AI helps to maintain a high level of action density across multiple simultaneous matches. The AI also helps new/less skilled players to also enjoy getting into the fight, which helps attract more players and increase the player base. I played WT for years without ever spending a dime. Enlisted is something I will actually pay to support as long as we keep seeing improvements.
Not sure about attracting more players, because the Ai in this game is just brain dead. One of the reasons why i quit. But still this game is actually better than bf and cod combined for me personal also got my share of fun out of it

@@cococock2418 I get how that comes across. But the model does work if you try to use it to your advantage. In reality, the bots can also turn into real players as long as the player positions his/her Ai so that they are not just killed off after he/she dies. If the player doesn't use the Ai like they were intended, then yeah, the 5 bots following him/her are sure to fall almost at the same time as the player. But if the player uses the Ai to create useful respon points, then the player and his Ai squad can have a much bigger impact on the battle. And if everyone did that, then nearly 99% of the enemies would be real players. I challenge you to give it another try using the Ai more as spawn points instead of just having them follow the leader to their death.

I played this "shit" from 2021, things you "forget":
Negativ:
- Classic free to play game, use the "losing streaks for frustration". What means that? First 50-100 battle okey, ussualy win the games, after that you got massive losing streaks. Why ? Simple. Mybe you pay some money.
- Boosters ???? B...tch pls. Lose the games. Onyl (!) with boosters. Why ? To lose the advantage in grind.
- This game made for War Thunder players. What it means ? You try the infantry push, but you got plane and tank camper spam. Planes drop big bombs, tanks camp in the dead zone of map (where you can't move). Typical 20 IQ players with zero aim controll. If they could, play only tanks and plane...
- Very - very unbalanced battles. And that's direct it. When I lose games, I'm the best ussualy, but I got less XP because lose. If I win, I'm just an average player in a strong team, I cant make many XP.
- To many passive weapon: arty, bombing run, mines (for every soilder), to many explosive item. The Normandy campaing is horror, full out of realism, its "directed by Michael Bay..."
- Many "давальдавальдаваль" playes. Less the then 20 IQ.
- The cap area is small. Many times the game is "run and die" simulator.
- The high level players beat easily you.
Positive thing:
- Many - many different weapon. Strong bolt action rifles (I like it).
- I like the bot hunting. Yes, its an easy way to grind your ago, but hey its a game. The bots dosent camp!!!!!
- Quick, fast game play. Yes, many tank and plane spam, but the infantry win the game. You can camp with the sniper rifle, just you won't get enough XP. The infantry base game win the battle.
- After 12-15 level, every campaing you enoght strong.
As someone write, its a good to change from HLL or PS to a little bit faster game play. About three battles out of ten are particularly good.

u can play this solo and its actually fun and u can do the daily missions in solo and learn the maps.
grind is slow of course but u can play pvp whenever u feel like and its winnable even as a beginner without any money paid.

7:45 wind and gravity can effect a bullet’s trajectory. I think there some points for realism. Good for a free game.
I stopped playing after a few hours, the grind was obscene to essentially access more of the game.
Vehicle play is basically don't bother until you have the best tanks/bombers, cause there's limited amount of vehicle slots per team and the lowest grade tank will lose 10 out of 10 times when fighting a better tank.
The only thing this guy doesnt like are the realistic things 😅

I got the appeal of it being a free to play game but for me, it was always trash. It felt like the enemy AI would just walk into my bullets even when I had a tank.
It felt better a year ago when the ttk was 1 or 2 shots and explosives were deadly. And the AI was insane and knew where you were. Now the ai is terrible, the ttk is god awful & the match making is god awful. Worst shooter i think i ever played

The game to me was never trash, the gun play is simple and user friendly, the ai make it more of a ww2 arcade mass shooter then competitive shooter like everything else these days. And since the games are so big win loss never becomes a worry to me only goofing around and killing the enemy with uniques weapons
For me the point is that the game is free. All the other FPS games have huge player bases and lots of time to improve and develop their games over several releases. For a free game that has a small player base this is quite decent. I can't tell the future, but I can pray that the developers will put more time into the game and that the community will continue to give its input.

I’m on PS4 and it similar here to, I find there is just way to many controls but not enough buttons to be even be placed on controllers. I can’t really lean or use the countless other controls without having to completely remap and have some over lapping controls to make use of it.

Bloom is a common mechanic across lots of different shooters. It adds depth to the gunplay and a skill gap for players to leverage. If you are struggling with it, made you need to spend some time reflecting on your ability as a player.
The ai go from randomly popping anything withing 60 yards to staring at the sky in a blink of an eye 😂
I love the ammo magazine system, its actually quite neat, cause that is what happens. Magazines and bullets are not magical
My issue, is that the UI displays your ammo count, not magazine count. So its very misleading.

I like enlisted because of the feeling of being a soviet soldier in Stalingrad looking out of a window and seeing 20 German infantry rushing the capture point and not immediately being cross map sniped by a live player camping the highest building of the map
I have played Enlisted from the beginning and IT HAS NEVER BEEN TRASH!!! Its a great game and is constantly being upgraded. As someone who appreciates historical accuracy and realistic bullet dynamics Enlisted is really underrated!!!

I do enjoy Enlisted, but that enjoyment only lasts about a couple of matches until the whole experience just feels been there done that and bought the t shirt and hat. The game does a fun loop but that fun is gonna depend on how much you’re willing to grind to unlock the good stuff.
