Thanks for watching! Some of these trees were my friends and now they're my scatter terrain 🙂 Like, comment, subscribe & share!

I love how chill this was. Not much talking, just nice ambience and watching someone work for 15minutes. Surprisingly relaxing!

Never thought of using cork tiles before, as i thought they might be too fragile. I use a selection of MDF bases suitably roughed up up as my tree bases. Great video some great ideas.

Thanks 👍 I mainly got the cork coasters for bits of rock for bases, but it actually had a lot of flexibility till it snaps and is thick enough to be rigid, they worked a treat and was easy to cut up too 🙂 I got some MDF now so I'll be giving that a go with some larger terrain pieces

Thanks! Yeah go for it, pretty cheap to get a bunch too 🙂 Although my coaster to terrain ratio is drastically out of wack, I need to get round to making more of them... Or serving more drinks when people come over 😅

Those looks great, and I'd bet they're super rugged. Good stuff

Thanks! Yeah I'm a big fan of cork now! Flexible and easy to cut and break up at the start, but is pretty sturdy by the end of it with the glue, mod podge, flock and scenic cement 🙂 Won't be chucking it around the garage anytime soon, I think it would survive a fumble or a drop though 😅

Some players can be less than delicate. Doesn't have to survive being run over by a lorry; just needs to get through the Friday evening 😄

I wonder what my wife would do if she saw me using her coasters to make terrain my for lord of the rings game lol. Awesome build bud!

Thanks mate! 🙂 Haha now that would be modular build, terrain piece and can still take a cup of coffee 😅

Nice one mate! Love having lots of trees 😊

Cheers Adam! 😄 I still have 46 coasters and a bunch of the trees left so plenty more to play with. The hot glue gun spewing out regardless of the trigger hurried me on from the cutting stage so 4 for the video it is then 😅

Nice looking Trees. You should buy some normal craft paint, citadel is way to expensive to use on terrain.

Ah yes, the hubris of having 2 full pots of Rhinox Hide and the ignorance of having a draw full of normal craft paints 😂

What would you recommend for trees?

Instead of making them or getting tree armatures I searched on Amazon for Miniature Trees and the ones I bought are a brand called Winomo. Don't know how shifty they are because different brands was using the same images, but they did arrive so at least if it is a shifty Amazon product they have good dispatch logistics 😂
A search on Amazon or eBay for less shifty items for "miniature trees" is a good place to start
