God, i miss playing Winston 24/7 I've seen pros coming up with the weirdest shit to get the most out from his kit that he became my favourite hero. Some of his tech are the hardest in the game by far. There's nothing as difficult to pull off like the triple melee combo
To put these in simple terms: 1. Look in the direction you’re slapping. 2.Use directional movement to alter your jump depending on how far away your target is. 3. Melee right before you land as Winston (not primal raging) to do an extra 30 damage.

What I am so glad you covered was the look down aspect. I was imitating that a bit but you got it explained plainly. Thanks for sharing!

I know im really late replying to you, but if you still play. try this code on the workshop TFV1N. Hit once and then follow with the jump right before the zen lands. If the zen goes out of your LOS it is still possible to keep the juggle going so don't give up just because you lost track for a second. Play with this code for a couple hours and you'll probably get the concept.

its so nice to see a character previously regarded as requiring no skill to finally be seen as very skill reliant, just in different ways as to how skill is conventionally considered. Heroes like Winston have so many intricacies, like with the jump which are only really realized very far on into their time in the game. 4:25 you should fix this while the video is still new, you need to look in the opposite direction of your fist so if youre swining with your left arm you should look to the right

With winstons new right click. You can combo even moar by right jump, right-click, left-click, melee, ult/smack, short jump then smack for a sweatlord POG.
the combos aren't endless becasue: option before jump is 4, after jump its about 4 sec u can press 4 diravtion avery second so do the match: 4*4*4*4*4=1024 options ---> long jumps short jumps: 4 before jump, 2 sec jump so 4 every sec do the math: 4*4*4= 64--->shortjump from 64+1024= 1088 options with long and short jump, medium jump would be= 1024-64= 960/2= 480 optinos for the medium shots all option: 64+480+1024=1568 options --> that isnt endless KarQ, i trusted your vidss ;(
@karq Great video as usual! Could you do a follow up video going over the differences of pressing jump pack while you are already in mid air as in after jumping or falling from a height. Can you also go over holding jump after landing from a jump pack for increased distance as well as speed?
Good video, hope its not already outdated from the new boop patch. Also, I think I found one wrong thing re: the triple hit. The triple hit is not a three jump combo. You get three hit markers in about 10 frames. 1st from a punch, 2nd from the landing damage, 3rd from the next punch. This is hard to do because you must hit the first punch at the last few frames of the animation or you will push them out of range of your 2nd punch. Still a nice video regardless of this though.
Dont forget too like your winston video before, to mention that winston gains 30% movement speed while in primal rage, which also applies to his jumps which is why generally u jump further compared to standard non-primal rage
I feel like these inputs that influence direction are easier with a analog stick than with mouse and keyboard. Reminds me about “di” mechanic in smash bro’s games.
