Easily the best version - I was drunk enough to sing this with a Jazz band at my brother- in-law's wedding, on a superb summer day in a Marquee - what a memory...😉👍🎙️🎷🎺🍾

Great entertainer. I remember him on BBC radio and the TV series "Stars and Garters", along with Kathy Kirby and others.
I've always liked that last line about 'the empties' - I just tripped over a bag of empties and it immediately put me in mind of this song and CF's version.
It seems that 'Fanlight' and 'Fan-dance' are interchangeable. Thanks for uploading.
