I used to sell real estate. It was so sad to see what people did to their homes once the bank took them. Beautiful homes just trashed to "punish" the bank. So sad.
I feel like that’s temporary hair dye that blew up due to heat maybe. Just feel like that’s in line with all of the items...press-on nails, clothing hangers etc. I cannot believe how clean you got those seats!
Could be. I own hair dye that's exactly this color. Biozell Color Mask in the shade Cool Violet. It comes ready-to-use in a tube. Maybe it burst on the seat for some reason?
Maybe a lip gloss or lipstick? In AZ I dare not even leave a tube of chapstick in the car for fear of melting. I was also thinking a printer ink cartridge? But nowadays those are pretty well packaged. Either way I'm now even more paranoid what items I leave in my car!
Me too. I'm sure in this line of work he's seen almost everything. But its nice that he doesn't talk in the video about it, I'm sure the people who's car got repossessed don't need to find the video and hear that on top of losing their car.
When I see cars like this, it makes me question what their home looks like. If they are renters, that home may be even worse!! The cleaning is so satisfying to watch!
My dad and step mom's cars are like this. Trust me, their home is truly unpleasant too. What shocks me the most is that they yell at their kids to clean their rooms. Like, you first? I never lived with them and don't really visit anymore...
Single moms with three kids and two jobs could definitely have this level of filth, at probably no fault of their own. Kids spill drinks, fling food at their siblings and we don't have time nor energy to clean it up in between jobs and trying to get some sleep at the end of the day. There are all kinds of people with all kinds of problems, we cannot jump to "lazy bum" as soon as we see a filthy repossessed car and then we have to ask ourselves, why was it repossessed? Did they wake up one day and said to themselves "I'm going to stop paying my car now and lose all the money I already paid for it, plus I'll have the benefit of not having a car anymore! What a brilliant idea!!!" No, I don't think so. People's problems go way deeper than that. Give parents the benefit of the doubt ;)

The fact that he is cleaning the underside of the carpet just shows his dedication and amazing work!
I'm just surprised at how long he spent vacuuming the seems of the seat cushions with those purple stains, even when it appeared all clean. Zero corner cutting!
I personally think the reason he cleaned the underside of the carpet, just spells out to me that the filth went all the way through the carpet, which is what was needed if that were the case. People as filthy as this should succumb to some virus they left brewing in their car, because the state of that was absolutely disgusting. I probably would have burnt all of the carpeting and seats, just to be safe I didn't contract anything, because I don't own a hazmat suit, but that's just me 🤷🏻♀️

In the hypothetical situation where my car got this nasty, I would try and clean it a little before bringing it in. This is just embarrassing
It was repossessed. the original owner probably didn’t have much notice beforehand and/or didn’t give a crap considering the state of the car. Definitely not a mentally healthy person.
They do that without warning. So if your car is just sitting outside and can be towed away that is what will happen
If you let your car get this gross, your capacity to get embarrassed is probably non existent in the first place
I used to work security at a company that took in repos. This doesn't surprise me. You know what surprises me? Clean repos.

Lesson one I’ve learned from this channel:
LEATHER SEATS
My moms words after I showed her his videos
Leather seats can be just as dirty, they just won’t stain as bad
Leather would probably be worse. The person would most likely not have cleaned them or conditioned them leaving it to get nasty cracks. Also the dye stain would have been permanent especially on lighter leather
I hate leather seats to death. I mainly wear stuff like sports pants and everytime I sit on leather surfaces, my butt becomes all sweaty and my pants stick to my butt. Its so uncomfortable.

From a former detailer, excellent work. My dealership would have never let me spend the time on this kind of car, but I love to see things like this where a car becomes completely restored.
Isn't that why nobody should get cars detailed at dealerships? They clearly have no patience and won't let you do extra work on the REALLY nasty areas of the car.
@@largol33t1 Good point , and I'm not typically a fan of any car dealership per se, but you do have to understand the dealership can't afford to pay 8-12 hours or more of intense detailing like most of this guy has to do. Could be. I own hair dye that's exactly this color. Biozell Color Mask in the shade Cool Violet. It comes ready-to-use in a tube. Maybe it burst on the seat for some reason?
