It's honestly so refreshing finding these videos of real videographers/photographers that just use affordable gear instead of the latest and greatest. Granted this video is a few years old at this point, but still.
Appreciate it! A couple things have changed since then but I agree that the culture of always upgrading to the latest is bad. Go out and create with what you have!

Just picked up a ZV e10, I mainly shoot baseball, lacrosse, and volleyball. What lens would you recommend?
id say get a 70-200, its very versatile
Love this video 🙌🏽, I have the Canon 7D Mark ii and 90D .. I have the 70-200 2.8 for photos .. you say that’s great for video also? (On a tripod) what other lens would you recommend like 24-70? Are you in CT?
I'd say the 24-70 or the 24-105 would both be good. And Im based out of MA but I go all throughout new england

Bro i currently have a canon efs 18-200. Should i get the 70 - 200 ?
the 70-200 will be much sharper and produce a better image with a lower aperture, but it is signifcantly more expensive, so if you have the budet id say go for it
Bro how do you get past overheating when shooting whole games ?
I dont shoot the game action in 4k so I dont really run into any overheating issues

overheating hasn't been that big of an issue for me. i use the 4k 60 pretty sparinlgy, but the biggest issue for me is how hard the CLOG footage is to edit. I need to make proxies everytime which is annoying
New to sports photography, what’s the 1 over 50 shutter rule? Someone please help?
It's when you set your shutter speed to double your frame rate. So if you are shooting 60fps your shutter would be 1/120 or if you are shooting 24 fps it would be 1/48
Willl a Sony a6000 and 18-135mm work for gyms like la fitness
