Tamron lenses have the zoom ring at the far end of the camera. Does it bother you when you zoom in with tamron lenses? I have not use Sony native lenses but I do notice while filming sports, when I zoom in my framing moves (it's noticeble with 70-180). I keep thinking is because of the position on the tamron's zoom ring since Sony native lenses the zoom ring is closest to the camera. Do you have this problem?
Is the F4 good with a Sony A6400 for an all around parent that videos basket, volleyball, baseball and football? Any suggestions if you only one lens to pick for my A6400. Much appreciated and great vids
Honestly both great which one you opt for first just depends on what sports you’re primarily shooting, what camera you have, and what you want to do outside of filming sports
Will this work well for the FX3 in the setting of a high school football game played at night, for video? Specifically for high school football, with some field lighting but less than a pro stadium, do you think it handles low light sufficiently to where it still is a better overall option than the Tamron 70-180 2.8? Thanks for any guidance
Keep in mind that I say this without seeing the stadium that you’re filming in, but with the fx3 an f4 lens should generally be fine since you can film at ISO 12 800

If you’re using a monopod and don’t have any issues with the stability of your footage then no. The major benefit there is going to be stabilization in the lens but with a monopod and ibis from the a7siii you should be just fine.

@@petersarellas still been holding onto my canon 70-200 2.8 iii for astro photo but I’m looking on getting an actual refractor telescope so once that happens I’ll sell the canon gear
Definitely still great and definitely holds up! I think that it could make sense for a lot of people who are choosing between the first or second version to go with the second based on the extra features and size for the price difference but each persons personal decision will of course be based on their own circumstances

I love your videos but I can't get behind you on this I'm sorry but this is a no a big heck no!! If your on a budget then yes get a F4 but just save for g master or get the tamron! But stay on 2.8!

I shoot sports on the 6400 and I’m looking at the tamron 17-70 2.8 for wide shots and then the 70-200 2.8 mark i or mark ii

I’m trying to pair it with the A6400 for football video would the aperture be to open? Conversion I think from F4-F5?
The last football game I shot I used a 70-200mm f4 on a crop sensor camera (FX30) so I couldn’t stress it
