About the jewelry, the pictures side by side of Queen Silvia with a crowd , the left side picture, that crowd never belonged to Josephine, it belongs to Brangance , from Portugal and Brazil.
Interesting but some errors: for example, Joséphine never divorced her first husband Alexandre, they were separated; when she married Napoléon, she was a widow not a divorced woman.
And the Empire is announced in May, 1804 with the infamous coronation, as painted by David taking place on December 2, 1804. It lasted 10 years, as the Empire was dissolved BEFORE Waterloo in 1815.
Small correction; on the rare instances of a queen consort being crowned in France it would have been at the Abbey of St. Denis not at the cathedral of Rheims.
The Swedish royal family, and by extension, the Scandinavian royal families, are descendants of Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte and Désirée Clary, the parents of Oscar I of Sweden. Désirée, whose sister married Joseph, Napoleon's brother, chose/suggested Oscar marry La Petite Beauharnais, Josephine's grand daughter, Josephine, which happened. Napoleon was not related to that grand daughter. La Petite Beauharnais brought some of her grandmother's jewellery to Sweden, some said at the suggestion of Desiree, where yes, it remains breathtaking. I just wish some of Josephine's other pieces, like the Alexander Tiara and other jewelled hair ornaments had made the trip to Sweden as well.
I recall hearing a story that one night Josephine was seen wondering the palace halls late at night unable to sleep. Barefoot and with her hair unstyled, she looked completely different than usual and one of the guards asked her if she was feeling well. "Oh, I'm feeling just fine" she replied. "I suppose I do look a bit pale without makeup on."
Hey Napoleon! I hear your marrying Josephine! Boy, she sure was a great kisser! That's right. Hey wait, what do you mean she's a great kisser? Hey Hugo! You hear Napolean marrying Josephine? Wow! She sure was a great kisser! Now hang on just a minute... HEY EVERYONE! NAPOLEAN'S MARRYING JOSEPHINE! crowd agreeing and talking about Napolean marriage to Josephine Oh for goodness sake! Is there anyone here who hasn't kiss my wife? Yeah, you! Roasted everyone laughing at Napolean for being roasted
She attempts too much humour, and is very inaccurate. There is no king of Finland, Josephine was a widow when she married Napoleon and both Alexandre and Josephine were imprisoned in the ‘Carmes’ not the Conciergerie !
Oh wow I will be binging this whole series thank you!

Not so sure I want to watch this lecture with that kind of mistake. Why is she even doing this lecture when she gets that wrong?
