this feels weirdly full circle, let me explain… in india a while ago, there was an advert about a razor for men and the guy in the advert looked an awful lot like Ed
is this considered incorrect/rude? not a native, so I always assumed that it was interchangeable like whether you say the a in "bath" as in "barn" or as in "lap"
@@johnmartinez7440 GD himself pronounces it “Day-viss”, not “Day-veez.” “Davies” is one of those never-quite-certain surnames for others, that has more than one way of saying it; but bottom line is, it’s the owner who gets to decide how they want it said. He kind of makes it sound like Ed's been looking forward to a 'tidy up' all day. Like thats the first thing he does when gets to a hotel room.
If it has been longer than usual between 'tidy ups', you do start looking forward to it.
I always wait until I go to a hotel, means I don’t have to tidy up afterwards

That's what you get for stealing his trousers.
This whole stand up special kills me every time 😂😂😂 can't wait to see him in April

I like how Greg’s version implies they were just driving in silence until Ed suddenly made an announcement about his bikini area.

Such an unsurprising pity that Richard Herring mispronounces Greg Davies’ surname yet again.

Well, one is his surname and the other isn't.
How is it mispronounced?
