After the annoyance of farming most mats in Sumeru with a few exceptions, I'm glad Alhaitham's are so easy, lmao. As for gameplay, he's probably one of my favorites now. A character that, to max out potential, requires player input rather than just brute force via buffs, is super cool, and I'm glad they're doing more characters like this.
For god mode you should try a hyperbloom team or a aggravate team, Al Haitham isn't going to compare to Nahida because he's a dps not a support and he doesn't need alot of em 400 is enough his crit is what matters
@@aloha5461 I honestly don't think so even if it does, having 800 em on someone like Al Haitham compared to Nahida isn't as optimal because he's meant to be a main dps
At a glance, he does play like Keqing, but after playing him, he feels more like Childe -he uses dual blades -he applies dendro super fast -he can spam AoE dendro with his projections even with just 1 mirror -if you play him wrongly, you'll get "punished" by having downtime on his infusion playing him as a dps honestly is a little bit underwhelming. But using him as an enabler with beidou is pretty funny. Just looking at all of Beidou's lightning aggravates is a treat. But still build him as a dps since he still does ok-ish damage
his E cooldown has been overexaggerated in terms of how "bad" it is if you play his optimal rotations, you are rewarded with a very long infusion. you can also opt for shorter infusion windows. c1 is by and large very, very overrated. additionally, people should note that elemental damage ascension is better than crit based ascension because it offers a higher damage ceiling. sure, crit ascension makes characters easier to build and look nice on paper, but elemental damage is nothing to scoff at -especially when it comes to dendro units who can't gain elemental damage bonus easily like PECH characters who have access to kazuha and sucrose also, i think you had too much hydro for the nilou bloom team. I think you could replace yelan with someone else like nahida. something else of note is that for dendro characters -since they rely on transformative reactions- scale better with level, so the level 70 showcase is just "okay" for a spread showcase, i'd replace benny boy with someone on four deepwood.
do buffs from other team members, burst first for 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, do charged attack to keep at 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, do skill to retain 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, swap off
You don’t need to use the plunging attack to get all three mirrors you just need to tap then charged attack bc I believe the passive talent has the same cool-down for plunge and charged attacks TLDR watch the zyox video if you want to learn how to play him
You seem pretty cynical about this character and I find it odd seeing as keqing is your super favourite. He has more uptime than a non-tf keqing and has a very similar aoe burst size to keqing as well
keqing and alhaithams only thing they have in common is animations, alhaitham is more rotation dependend and you also need to understand how he and the mirrors work to get him to the full potential
So i'd like to suggest some things for how to play him. First it's probably better to do a charged atk after his e instead of a plunging atk since it takes less time, it's also better to start with his burst when you start using him in the rotation to get all 3 mirrors and than using his skill after a little while, and finally it'd be better to play him with nahida because she can battery him, apply more dendro and in your case with c2 decrease the def of ennemies (also some team suggestions haitham/nahida/raiden/yelan or haitham/nahida/yae/fischl,zhongli) Anyway thank you for banger vids as always
@@mamonth6985 you know all the dmg comes from EM Raiden, huperbloom teams doesn't show how good is he as dps, it only shows he is decent dendro applier

Hey Moga! I’ve been following you for a very long time now and I’m quite a fan of your usual showcases and raising modes. I would still BEG YOU to please watch Zy0x’s guide on Al-Haitham before you do the next video! He is genuinely not an easy character to figure out by yourself at all, but he is insanely powerful when you utilize his kit correctly. I just think you would have a rather hard time timing his overall damage output without the guidance (like literally everyone, even myself). Love you
The comments down here are just what I expected, didn't think I would need to say it but whatever: *_You don't watch Moga for the guides, you watch him for the content._* When it comes to optimal rotations, combos and teams comps I prefer to go watch small channels or web pages (like Keqing mains), they are the ones who test the most in order to share optimal guides, but they lack… _charisma…_ this is where channels like Moga come in. 👍
I managed to get him for free at 10 pity(guaranteed), but looking at his constellations, especially C6, he feels like a totally different char from C0 to C6. Just like Cyno, you want him on field for as long as possible, but his C6 completely changes him to a quickswap playstyle, and you no longer have to worry about his skill cooldown at all
I think I would be using his burst first to max mirrors and then have more duration with the infusion if I plan on a longer rotation. Otherwise skill then burst

I am sure you Riden was not build into hyperbloom) 3) Get someone with deepwood set on the team (preferably Nahida but can be YaoYao or smth) Alhaitham NEEDS a teammate with a deapwood set on This video was honestly quite painfull to watch. Why did you use Bennett??? Alhaitham and Bennett are never used together cos burning kills quicken aura...
idk but for me my alhaitham is doing a lot more with slightly less EM and more crit DMG. i dont think he needs too much em imo, unlike people like nahida
Maybe go for a second dendro for the resonance, honestly. As well as extra energy. And use just one hydro so you don't keep removing quicken all the time.
alhaithams skill cooldown isn’t actually that bad. if you start w the burst into a skill after 4 secs and a ca after 4 secs you can maximize his 3 mirror uptime to 12 secs w another 4 secs of two mirrors and about 8 secs of one mirror. at that point u can restart the rotation. or u can go skill ca/plunge for 4 secs of 3 mirror, 4 of two and 8 of one. at which point u can set up other skills again and restart that rotation. as long as u know how to play him you’ll never rly have a downtime longer than 1-2 secs :) (at least w my hyperbloom alhaitham, raiden, xinqiu and yaoyao team, but I don’t think other teams would be much different)
I really dig Alt's design, and he does seem like just a moderately good Dendro character, but I think I'd prefer that over someone overpowered which would just contribute to more power creep in the game. Besides the handful of insanely OP characters in this game, I think MHY has done a pretty good job of keeping most characters pretty "level" so as to prevent insane power creep.
In my experience as a Tighnari main, if you want to get the maximum personal damage from a Dendro main dps you should just run 2 Electro 2 Dendro with your second Dendro on Deepwood. Using Bennett just messes up the Catalyze (Dendro + Electro). For max damage I'd recommend Alhaitham, Sara, Fischl/Yae/Shogun (apply consistent Electro) and Nahida (Deepwood), for general use probably swap out Sara for Kuki
Honestly loved how easy it was to get materials for him. He feels very easy to work on including artifacts. It’s annoying to farm ex Itto’s domain. My Kokomi loved it but could’ve had god tier artifacts if it dropped the other one 💀. It’s still very grindy and resin capped as usual though.
Do you know? When you aim Alhaitham's ES on enemy's head, you will deal ES dmg and can also plunge to get 3 mirrios all together without losing any damage.
You should try Alhaitham in hyperbloom. Kuki Shinobu is a beast and hitting as hard as some of my five star units. She’s one of my go to when spiral abyss is too hard

A character that, to max out potential, requires player input rather than just brute force via buffs, is super cool, and I'm glad they're doing more characters like this.
14:19 the camera focus.. yeah hoyoverse definitely knows what they were doing
1:15 “i don’t beep the meat” Moga 2023
For god mode you should try a hyperbloom team or a aggravate team, Al Haitham isn't going to compare to Nahida because he's a dps not a support and he doesn't need alot of em 400 is enough his crit is what matters
EM actually matters more than crit for alhaitham
@@aloha5461 I honestly don't think so even if it does, having 800 em on someone like Al Haitham compared to Nahida isn't as optimal because he's meant to be a main dps
@@SleepyKurisu I didn't say you should ONLY focus on EM tho? I'm just saying that EM matters more than crit for him.
Personally, I'm planning on running him in hyperbloom team with Xinqiu, Yelan and Kuki (Em build on Kuki with gilded dream)
i always get confused when i use his skill because im so used to using keqing, so i press his skill twice and realize thats not how it works.
At a glance, he does play like Keqing, but after playing him, he feels more like Childe
-he uses dual blades
-he applies dendro super fast
-he can spam AoE dendro with his projections even with just 1 mirror
-if you play him wrongly, you'll get "punished" by having downtime on his infusion
playing him as a dps honestly is a little bit underwhelming. But using him as an enabler with beidou is pretty funny. Just looking at all of Beidou's lightning aggravates is a treat. But still build him as a dps since he still does ok-ish damage
his E cooldown has been overexaggerated in terms of how "bad" it is
if you play his optimal rotations, you are rewarded with a very long infusion. you can also opt for shorter infusion windows. c1 is by and large very, very overrated.
additionally, people should note that elemental damage ascension is better than crit based ascension because it offers a higher damage ceiling. sure, crit ascension makes characters easier to build and look nice on paper, but elemental damage is nothing to scoff at -especially when it comes to dendro units who can't gain elemental damage bonus easily like PECH characters who have access to kazuha and sucrose
also, i think you had too much hydro for the nilou bloom team. I think you could replace yelan with someone else like nahida. something else of note is that for dendro characters -since they rely on transformative reactions- scale better with level, so the level 70 showcase is just "okay"
for a spread showcase, i'd replace benny boy with someone on four deepwood.
The amount of notifications on his map, it needs to scroll to see them all 💀
do buffs from other team members, burst first for 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, do charged attack to keep at 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, do skill to retain 3 mirrors, NA for 4 seconds, swap off
Fun fact: if you go far away from a boss and then change the time, the boss will reset
Wait what💀
Fr??
this feels like a lie but i'm kinda curious so i'll try it 👀

Update?
Fake
Y,all are sleeping on the harbinger of dawn
the problem with that weapon is the atk, its very good if you are a beginner but for al haitham an iron sting would be better (I think)
You don’t need to use the plunging attack to get all three mirrors you just need to tap then charged attack bc I believe the passive talent has the same cool-down for plunge and charged attacks
TLDR watch the zyox video if you want to learn how to play him
I mean, yes, but he could always just read the skill description xDDDDDD looking at him playing makes me feel more stupid
@@kawaiilone He's not a keqing clone, but they are very similar in the roles they fulfill
It's a trend that Moga never knows how to play a character it seems
0:04 Actually the first one you said is the correct way of saying it, they say it wrong in game
So i'd like to suggest some things for how to play him. First it's probably better to do a charged atk after his e instead of a plunging atk since it takes less time, it's also better to start with his burst when you start using him in the rotation to get all 3 mirrors and than using his skill after a little while, and finally it'd be better to play him with nahida because she can battery him, apply more dendro and in your case with c2 decrease the def of ennemies (also some team suggestions haitham/nahida/raiden/yelan or haitham/nahida/yae/fischl,zhongli)
Anyway thank you for banger vids as always
Finally, a more expensive team than Freeze.
@@SuperSone FR. But there is a more f2p variant but since he has these characters i suggested them. You can go haitham/dendro traveler/kuki/xingqiu
I play him with Yelan/EM Raiden/YaoYao(C1). It's very satisfying. And I get better numbers than what Moga got from ATK buff team.
@@mamonth6985 you know all the dmg comes from EM Raiden, huperbloom teams doesn't show how good is he as dps, it only shows he is decent dendro applier
I've found him overwhelmingly impressive for Nilou bloom teams. He's nice for everything else, but my Nilou team is now even more overpowered. I'd only had the trial Nahida for the team in the event last patch to compare him to, but he certainly doesn't seem like a downgrade.
I love how he just put in Al haitham saying his name because he didn’t want to accidentally pronounce it wrong
When you do his godmode, I highly recommend using the best team I have seen him in so far. The video is called "alhaitham's first speedrun" or something like that, and in that, he was using one of the strongest teams I have seen.
Fischl-Nahida-Yae-Haitham.
Yae and Alhaitham seem amazing together.
His burst for me hits like 36k each attack lol I love him already even with level 6 talents
combo for longest time with 3 mirrors:
q > swap support/2 secs na > 4 secs na > e/ca > 4 secs na > e/ca(whatever you didnt use previously) > 4 secs na
he's honestly super fun and strong to play, ive been running mine with shitty artis (as im still farming for them) and a lvl 1 dull blade, however, he still shreds whenever he does reactions!!
i love ur content, u inspired me to get over my fear of being perceive online and start posting vids on my channel. seeing u post keeps me motivated to continue youtube as a fun hobby!
HoYo changed some mechanics,
Any enemy that dies rather farther from where you are won't give you any matts or drops unlike before, maybe because of Nahida where you can literally kill small monsters even from far away due to her E
Love you
He's actually a really really great dmg dealer.
The comments down here are just what I expected, didn't think I would need to say it but whatever: *_You don't watch Moga for the guides, you watch him for the content._*
When it comes to optimal rotations, combos and teams comps I prefer to go watch small channels or web pages (like Keqing mains), they are the ones who test the most in order to share optimal guides, but they lack… _charisma…_ this is where channels like Moga come in.
Otherwise skill then burst
i got junpscared by the straightforward names of his constellations
All have them
Genshin is a Game where the Characters Name have a 2nd meaning
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID SINCE YESTERDAY!
if i'm not mistaken he even has the dragon strike bug that keqing had
You can still do it with polearms, swords and claymores but it’s the easiest and most consistent with claymores
@@justcherry8023 I'm talking about when we used your E at a certain angle to do an immersive attack, they fixed that way of doing that, but now it's back in alhaitham
ALHAITHAM more like Alhaithyum. Okay I go now. Also glad you didn't forget the beeps.
I like using him with another dendro on the team for extra em and I noticed it really ups his damage
i cant turn volume that high cuz my mom is busy and what not so i put subtitles, when you said alhaitham the subtitles said i'll hate them LMAO
apparently C1 doesnt help much, it doesnt change gameplay
it's actually pretty nice for quality of life, c1 deals with the 18s cooldown skill and makes let's it be up basically every rotation and not every other rotation.
@@coolguy10221 that's the thing if you do the optimal rotation. You'd have your E every rotation
The C1 is actually for the C6 where you burst with 2 Mirrors
@@coolguy10221 His C1 is overrated. If you play with the correct rotation, you will have no problem. Same with Childe and his C1. I'm Childe main and correct rotation solves his cooldown as well. If you manage the rotation, both Childe and Alhaitham have their skills ready by the time you switch back to them. If not, that's skill issue at that point because it IS manageable just fine.
@@sara_s1737 c1 simply is more forgiving for if you messed up rotation. imo c2 is where the value lies.
I think it might be interesting to have Al-ha in a Taser team.
moga next time u go picking up materials for characters use nahidas E skill and it will be lot easier
i just found your videos, OMG i love the beeps.
your al haitham pronunciation is great!
Just a quick tip about alhaithem ,getting him to level 90 is more important then raising any of his skills, a lvl 90 alahaitham with skill levels 1 outdpses a lvl 70 alhaithem with level 6 talents
Being alhaitham is my first dendro main dps he is great. Got his sword too but them regional mats were a pain to get by myself without using the "go bother and beg others to steal from their world" method.
Just managed to get him to lvl 80 today
I was there for the “beep” montage. Am I a true moga fan now?
Good luck with GOD MODE alhathim
Moga, for the god mode you will have to do a lot of homework:
1) Learn the right rotatons
2) Farm gilded dreams set for 2 characters (Alhaitham and his hyperbloom triger. I am sure you Riden was not build into hyperbloom)
3) Get someone with deepwood set on the team (preferably Nahida but can be YaoYao or smth) Alhaitham NEEDS a teammate with a deapwood set on
This video was honestly quite painfull to watch. Why did you use Bennett??? Alhaitham and Bennett are never used together cos burning kills quicken aura...
idk but for me my alhaitham is doing a lot more with slightly less EM and more crit DMG. i dont think he needs too much em imo, unlike people like nahida
Moga, I love your work (and voice) so much
I suggest Alhaitham, Raiden Shogun, and then two hydro off-field supports. Like Xingqiu and Yelan
I think if you want to play him in a bloom team you would remove one hydro and pay him together with nahida. They work really well together too
1:10 those meats are for a new recipe that you can buy in Sumeru
"He's ok..."
Yeah Moga. When you give a main dps a support weapon with no base atk or OP 4pc sets for them they will be ok 😭
Tip: u can hold his e skill on the ground and plunge attack without having to aim above
Bro your content is top tier always updating us
Finally gold you know how to pronounce all-hey-them 's name
was waitin for this vid and plz do a revisit god mode for hu tao during her banner
I love those videos when u raise characters
raised videos moga be: "If the character doesnt have a proper build they cant do demage, who wouldve thought!"
if you do his rotations properly his c1 becomes useless just like childe's c1
''I don't beep to meat because'' -Moga, 2023
7:04 blackcliff from the star glitter shop
Moga: There are no 4 star swords that are F2P that have crit stats.
Blackcliff sword: Am I a joke to you?
I finally got him built and he’s amazing with his sig weapon! Haven’t played since he was announced cause I only wanted to play as him
I really dig Alt's design, and he does seem like just a moderately good Dendro character, but I think I'd prefer that over someone overpowered which would just contribute to more power creep in the game. Besides the handful of insanely OP characters in this game, I think MHY has done a pretty good job of keeping most characters pretty "level" so as to prevent insane power creep.
even moga was convinced of the dendro keqing XD
Dont use bennet for al haithams spread dmg it ruins the reaction. just use the electro and dendro by itself for
My B... You forgot the Blackcliff Sword....
That was a lot of notifications on the map lol
visually his atacks look like keqing but when it comes to teams they differ
Am i the only person who laughed at "we nut"?
Also if you do his skill and then a charge/ plunge when the fusion ends you can have 100% uptime with his fusion, using characters like raiden or miko might be better though for aggravate bonus
Fun fact; Pupa means butt in polish :D
His perfect setup is
Q
Arak for 4 sec
Plunge/chafed attack
Attack for 8 sec
E
After you hit E at the end is that when you’d swap to your other teammates? Like is that E just for particles/damage
Shouldnt be E for the middle combo? And then Charge atk for the last. If you do the E for the last combo the cooldown will be longer.
@@ivandanu7745 he’s so complicated, I guess you might be right 😅 I’m still messing up with his rotations
