Nainital Lake, a natural freshwater body, situated amidst the township of Nainital in Uttarakhand State of India, tectonic in origin, is kidney shaped or crescent shaped and has an outfall at the southeastern end. Nainital is most popular hill station of Kumaon district. The most prominent of the lakes is Nainital Lake ringed by hills. In Nainital Lake option of boating through yachts, paddle boats and traditional rowing boats are available. The depth of this lake is said to range between a maximum 28 metres and a minimum of 6 metres. There are many boating stations on mall road. Duration: 30-60 mins. Paddle boats, sailing boats, n rowwing boats available, rs160, rs210 is the charge for ride. Views are awesome.
