- I spoke all about Athenian Owl Tetradrachms with Spencer Miller / millerancients - he recently bought a bunch of them from an auction and was able to take the time to chat about the coins in front of us. Its pretty clear that there were test cut forees, forgers got wise and to pass a test cut, they would plate test cut molds, thats the reason for multiple test cuts.
