Your visit to Charleston helped bring back great memories of our TWO visits there and would love to go back a third time! Safe travels to your next destination!
FWIW - the white mansion at 22:16 is a historic home that has been turned into an Inn with a few rooms. We stayed there for a number of days, parked our car across the street and never had to move it, walked to downtown, and didn't want to leave. If I remember correctly the address was 10 Battery. If you get a chance, spend some time in Charleston - you'll love it!!!
We truly enjoy your videos and love the adventure y'all are on! Today is Sunday, October 6th, and we are hoping y'all are farther north than these storms that are rolling through. Hurricane Helene probably sent strong winds and rain towards your path, but thankfully turned westward. Stay safe and keep posting more videos! George and Karen Ensey
Thank you both so much for caring! We actually crossed our wake in Ludington, Michigan June 1st . It has been so hard to see all the devastation, especially after just being there and meeting so many nice people! We appreciate you joining us for this journey :)
Made the Elliott’s Cut Run on Labor Day Weekend 2024 in our new to us Sea Ray 480MY “Redeemed”, AGLCA 33364 what a bobsled ride on the out going tide. At 800 rpms we were doing 13 SOG on the gps in the cut. AWESOME! For a Great Lakes trained and breed boater 5 feet of tide twice a day is a real experience builder. Can’t what for your run Charleston to Georgetown.
Congratulations on your new boat "Redeemed"! I love the name :) You aren't kidding about the tides being an experience builder lol. Safe travels to you, and hopefully we will cross paths out there! If you are on NEBO, we will watch for you :)
A beautiful city. Had family lived just south of The Battery off of Hwy 17 South. We would ride our bikes across the 17 bridge, past the VA and on to the Battery and around town. Great memories for me on this trip!
Now that was an enjoyable cruise this episode, and finished off in one beautiful place....great architecture, when building things were a better artform ,, in my eyes anyway. Thanks again for the ride.....🍻🍻🍻🍾💙🦘🦘🦘
Thank you Mark and Mel! :) Our videos seem to align very nicely! Thank you for sharing your journey too, it is a great way for us to see spots we missed!
Another great video this part of your journey is extremely interesting. Glad you’re doing well. Just have two questions. Where is your dog? I haven’t seen him in the last few videos and is the ICW easier to navigate than the river system? Again thanks for sharing.
Hello Fred! Thank you so much! Ollie is still with us, we didn't realize we had such a dry spell in Ollie footage! He really did great on the trip. Thank you for asking :) Bob said both the ICW and rivers were similar, but the ICW had areas that we could safely bump up speed with wide open areas. There were lots of really slow spots on the ICW with houses and long docks. I preferred the ICW for the dolphins and manatee sightings, but both were absolutely beautiful in their own ways.
Well I'm hooked now. Your videos are great. Your marathon and information is very interesting and valuable. I've heard of Bobs tracks, but you went the extra mile. Subscribed now. Also watching Capt. Paul. God bless you guys
Hello Steve! Beaufort City Marina was full for the night. Lady Island Marina ended up being a great stop, with wonderful owners who have a great story to tell. We would definitely recommend them :)
Boating and sailing should not be about changing alternator belts, changing the oil/filters, chasing down electrical gremlins, crawling down into the engine compartment and getting all hot, sweaty, greasy, dirty, busted knuckles, and cussin'. It's supposed to be about Sperry deck shoes, white linen shorts, colorful Hawaiian or pastel guaybberra shirts, a nice Panama hat of some sort, fair weather, cocktails on the aft deck, fine cigars, and beautiful sunsets. Always! You know I'm right! At least that was my unfulfilled fantasy😁😉. And bettin' y'all have had a few of those daydreams too! But looks like Charleston made up for the start of this leg a bit!
AMEN!!!! Bob said "his sediments exactly!" Your comment made us just smile, Thank you for always supporting us and being so kind. We really appreciate you!
Hi Larry! Thank you so much for caring. Ollie is fine :) We didn't realize as we were recording videos that we had such a dry spell for poor Oliver sightings! We have been joking about next time we will mount an Ollie cam on his collar lol. Hopefully the next videos will have more. Thank you so much for joining us!

Hey wondered why you stayed at Lady Island vs down town Beaufort City Marina
