Ah yes, the glorious TOG on Pearl River. This brings back a very fond memory. Remember, TOG is heavy, and cannot be moved except under her own power. I’m pretty sure they stop volcanic lava flows in Iceland with TOGs
What's not to love? If it was a movie, it would be one of those movies that were too unrealistic for an audience to swallow. A bunch of old farts formerly from the landship bureau who couldn't let go of their old thinking and scoffed at the young whipper snappers with their childish ideas. They somehow go the funding to build a ww1 tank after ww2 had already begun!they unironically called themselves "The Old Gang" and gave the name to their obsolete tractor. It's up there with Bob Semple
I think the rule of thumb is if you go in as a platoon of TOGs and you roll pearl river, at least two of them must make road blocks of themselves. Needless to say I became one of two TOG bunkers that blocked the bridge with a friendly kv2 wedging themselves in a spot between the overlap so they could get their barrel over the rears of our TOGs. I'm pretty sure some of the tankers on the other team still have nightmares about the amount of firepower we dished out and still seek therapy for it.
Jingles old boy, you could put up a video which was just a TOG sitting in a field while you talked Tog for 10 minutes and I'd watch it. Correction - make that 20 minutes. Edit on getting to the end of the Tog gloriousness: For the Emperor!

Holy mackerel, at the end I was thinking of that EXACT line from Warhammer, and had a physical moment of joy and celebration when it was used in the video, even pointing at the screen and saying “I WAS THINKING OF THAT”! You know you have watched a lot of Jingles when you can predict what he’s going to say or use before he says or uses it. It’s also good fun to say what you think he’s going to say at the exact same time he says it so you have that brief moment where you were in sync with him and it’s the best feeling ever.
At any moment the nuclear bombs could fall. I am spending what could be my last hours thinking..."this feels like the '80s again!". And as we all move slightly closer to oblivion i'm watching a TOG video from Jingles! While i have long since given up actually playing any game by Wargaming i am still enjoying your content Sir Jingles! cheers for the years. My pathetically proudest moment is that I have a brief cameo in a vid of yours....your Warspite review from a fuckton of years ago....I am there in my Fuso (IIRC).

Hi Mr Jingles - i am your fan for years now, but frankly speaking I expected more today - with the invasion in Ukraine today I do not feel comfortable playing Russian war game anymore - despite having > 11k battles in Wows I feel disgraced by what is happening just few hundreds in from me. I think what we could do as gamers maybe boycott Wargaming? I mean playing this game and supporting it - supports Russia indirectly which I am no longer ok to do :(.
Love the TOG, I once solo capped and went undetected on the Ruinberg map. I spawned on the north end, drove east to edge, then south to the bottom, then west into enemy cap. This thing is so slow that by the time I got there everyone else was dead except for an enemy arty that I spotted and killed before he saw me. Once in a lifetime.
To be fair, if you don't know the tog (which as a newish player you verry well might not, given how rarely its played) and you see something this big with a heavy tank icon over it it's fairly resonable in the current state of the game to assume youre going to need gold to damage it...
Ahh, the old days when tog was fun to play. I remember having watched the three tog road block video. And being inspired by your braveness. Parked my tog across the bridge to the cap on Erlenberg. Doing a fair amount of damage as they pushed the field. Whilst becoming a 70ton roadblock that held off all comers long after I was dead. Fun times.
Had a game in Provence in my O-I where I was the only person on the Southeastern corner from the Eastern team. So I drove down onto the climb up Road, turned my O-I sideways, derped one tank, then died. Literally saw five tanks try and move my fat butt out of the way, including two heavies. Nothing worked. They ended up having to drive into the guns of my team who were on the other leg of that road that heads directly toward the cap. I was the only death on the entire team.
Gawd I had to think about times where KV1's and the premium Churchill filled the T5 matchmaking. These were some good times. The Pz IV was amazing this time.
A group of former EvE players and I would frequently take breaks and play tanks together, sometimes a 8 - 10 of us all in TeamSpeak. We'd form platoons, count down to hitting the READY button, and frequently succeed in getting into battles together. One of my favs was the Tog Swarm, 6 of us in one team all in Togs. Simply hilarious and great for for everyone. PS If you have your Tog battle you were referring to where you blocked the bridge, I'm betting we'd all love to see that!

Loved the video @The Mighty Jingles! Can't wait for the next video man! The TOG 2 is actually a Thick Skinned beast, it's a Teir 6 Tank with Preferential Matchmaking, It's not like you're going to stand much of a chance against a line of them while in a KV-1S!
Meanwhile in World of Tanks Blitz. The TOG has 135mm or frontal armor and has a 20 km/h speed limit, it has become a mighty beast with maps to roam of only 250 meters.

I heard jingles say "best game in TOG" and immediately remembered the great Wall of TOG.
I think the Thunderbolt might have thrown the fire extinguisher out of the tank to make room for a large case of cola.
