I get how you attached the two together but am loss as what to do next. You are a great teacher, but I need a bit more visual. I followed a cal where we did eight rows across and eight rows down, next we learn the border, it was the cluster granny squares. I do hope you consider doing three across and 3 down so we can see how the rows are attached, thank you for your consideration,this is far the best I have seen and I thank you.

This is awesome! I'm trying to adapt it for a ripple stitch queen size afghan so I can crochet half of the afghan, set it aside, crochet the other half and join the two halves. This will prevent me from having the huge thing on my lap all at once, at least until this join row. Like I said I am in the middle of a crochet along we are at eight weeks. 8 rows down and arc Ross, from making the squares to connecting them row after row, and next we will learn how to do the borders. She gives great tips along the way on weaving in ends and tension, and smooth color changes. Every two to 3 weeks she pops out the next step. I think each presentation is an hour or so long. I know every has their own time restraints. But hey I would be willing to wait on the masters. So if you are able to do the three across and three down that would give a complete picture to get us on out way. Then a quick border to finish them up. Be easy on yourself and spread it out over a month or two. I belong to five crochet groups and people are always asking for where they can find more complete viedoes on connecting squares. I appreciate you willingness to listen and giving series thought to consider this endeavor, I wish I was more of the type to visually in my mind to turn the corner and continue, but I get brain freeze and stare blankly at my project. I im doing a regular granny square and i did not like the join as you go regular as there where gaps between my rows of 3 as you join only in the middle... this is what i have been looking for . So ill do both regular granny but join them with that dropping and getting the loop back trough the other one. Thanks a lot.

Before you start crocheting ... there is:- 1 granny square with 5 rounds of crochet: *2nd granny square with 4 roundss of crochet: This is your starting set : You need to start crocheting the 5th row around the 4 rounds of the *2nd granny square square, you do this technique by crocheting the two squares together: Each square has 5 row around each square: Basically what this means, one square is smaller than the second square !
I pick up the opposite corners (just like in my continuous join as you go video) BUT I'm going to film it early next week to show you as a couple of people have asked the same question 👍
I rarely block individual squares, I find joining them pulls them into shape - if something requires blocking at the end I'll block the final piece :) If a square is more intricate or needs appliques adding etc then I'll block the individual squares before joining but as I said, it's rare I block anything!

In the video you say to keep joining as long as you have stitches left to join...Let’s say I am joining a left square to a square on the right....I am confused about how to navigate the corner at that point. Do you happen to have a close up picture of that part....i have slowed the video down but still can’t tell which stitches you are joining into. Are we joining into the corner space of the right square and then doing a complete corner on the left square? See I don’t even know how to describe it.lol Would love some help if possible. The granny square I learned has the tail in the middle meaning you end by joining the three chain to your double in the middle of the last side. Is there a way to do this with that granny square ?

The granny square I learned has the tail in the middle meaning you end by joining the three chain to your double in the middle of the last side. Is there a way to do this with that granny square ?
Yes absolutely! The method is the same, no matter where you begin your granny square (corner or side, it doesn't matter) 😀
