You can't go wrong with ModLite. I love all their products! I have 2 handhelds OKW HOG and a FDE PLHv2 and have 2 on rifles, OKW and PLHv2. Just before I picked up the HOG, I was thinking about grabbing a Cloud Defense light as I've yet to try any of their lights. But now I'm thinking about grabbing one of the multimode lights. Not that I need another flashlight haha
@@thomasgibbs3656 I’ve yet to grab a PL350, I currently use Surefire X300U on a few pistols and StreamLight TLR 1 HL on a few pistols. I really should grab a few PL350. I already know and love modlite so no reason to think I wouldn’t like them!
I like how Modlites heads are cross compatible with their rifle lights, pistol lights and handhelds. Their marketing and customer support could use a lot of work however. I personally think they could update their heads with more candela and Lumens now. Cloud Defensive has incredibly good customer support and an insanely good marketing team. Their products are great but nothing is compatible with each other and until recently, no duel fuel options which is huge con. Surefire upped their game with the turbo series but I haven't tried them yet other than the X300 turbo. Arisaka/Malkoff is extremely underrated in my opinion. Not as bright as Modlite but only by a small margin. What's nice is you can get a complete rifle light that's duel fuel compatible, scout pattern compatible, with a mount and better tail cap for less than a Modlite complete package.
I love my cloud Reins. My big compliant with modlight is I want a complete kit like cloud. Was eyeing throwing one together and half the parts I wanted were out of stock. Eyeing the modlight IR940 head for use with this setup. Hopefully one day Cloud does IR but saw someone ask last year and wasn’t on their priority list.

I’m eyeing the two IR heads trying to figure out which. Thinking I’ll snag the 940 here soon.
I agree you definitely can’t go wrong with modlite. I have four modlite two hogs : okw and pLh v2 and two pl350 : both okw heads

Cloud’s MCH series are all dual fuel, also offer more programming modes then Modlite and are less expensive.
