This plane is literally my most played plane in the game so far. It outspeeds anything it cant dogfight, energy fights like a champ, ridiculously strong flaps, and just doesn't compress. I barely feel uptiers, and downtiers are just criminal. Really, the only underwhelming aspect are the guns, but late war .50 tracer belts just set everything on fire. 10/10
Would've been the same but the swedish J26 David doesn't have the Late-war belts and gets the mid war ones instead. It would've been good but it doesn't seem to set anything on fire even on Zero's. Probably the most frustating P51 variant to fly with the D5.
Damn i didnt know you could use landing flaps like that on the mustang, thats some 200iq gameplay with predicting paths thrh clouds and baiting enemies with smoke, nice
well that's why I dragged them away before I started fighting, but yeah that does tend to happen if you don't pay attention. You do have the speed to just dive away and run if you see that coming tho

@@alexsandr5048 both are good starter nations, the Russian yak series of planes are all really nice and japan has the a6ms and the k61s that are all great dogfighters

A fellow man of culture. Do you have the f6c? If you don't its the French variant which get less fuel so its even more manueverable.
