I've been following this since you broke ground. It sounds like you have a lot invested in this project ($$$)! Love all of the 'bells and whistles' you've added. It looks like you've thought of everything

Yeah have to agree with batteries suck. Great if you don’t have grid power. Was curious why 12v vs 120v pump? Also just observation from working in mechanic shops wheels that have weight like that always wear the concrete. Should add some sacrificial steel flat bar where the wheels meet the concrete in the pit.

Yessir there will be rails for the floor thats what we are filming now. I think this will hopefully all make sense when we get to the test demo videos.

In the Panhandle of TX. I like all things offroad. Got this hat watching the Iceland guys in bikini bottoms at a rock bouncing event.

Harbor freight has a battery cut off switch sturdy enough to attach wire / rope to pull on

I got one from there that has a key I was looking at modifying for that. Is there another one? Link?

Batteries suck! For emergency operations, I would plumb in a simple hydraulic hand pump. Your actuator is tiny, you would have no issue hand pumping yourself up. Even with the monster actuators I have, I'm putting a hand pump on it.

There will be a trickle charger on all the time. I cycled this about 50 times on this charge and it didn't show signes of weakening. If it was going to cost me money if it was down I would add more but I will just change my oil the next day after I fix it.

@@ThinkBuildTest I fly airplanes right? My back up hydraulic power for my landing gear is a pump handle next to my seat. I can easily hit 1500psi with one hand sitting down. You are going to be forever playing games with speed on this thing running on battery power. You need stable voltage or be able to control the voltage going to your pump. Go back and watch BOOM on my channel. Listen to the speed change. That was me just bumping up the frequency 10hz. I can set any speed and it's smooth, safe and stable. A 110vt pump for your lift is cheap, then drive it on a cheap 110vt VFD. The variable frequency drive will give you precise control and they do a lot more! How about not coming to hard stops at both ends? You can have it ramp up or ramp down so it won't launch you up rapidly. VFDs are magical devices! Mine is easily controlled from my phone! Battery power is fine for a dump trailer, but I wouldn't use it in this application.
