I want to say thanks for all the info on clothing brands. I just sold my very first Ebay item. I spent a couple weeks doing research and attaining inventory/supplies. I noticed you mentioned a a couple of times the more unique the item the better it will sale on EBay. I’m glad you encouraged this philosophy. When I find unique items sometimes it’s hard for me to take a risk if I can’t find an exact comp but I know it’s a good brand for example.
I love your videos because you explain all your finds and why you grab them or pass them up, and the brands to look for and why. I learn a tone from you! I do find that your thrift store prices are MUCH cheaper than where I am, but I usually only look on half price days, so it's still great to know what to look for. Thanks!

I drive 2 hours away to get to some decent thrift stores. I thrift the WHOLE day. Just like you my back is aching, I'm hungry... thirsty and just plain tired! I just bought first pair women’s shoes Brighton Tosca Italy , not great flip $4 into maybe $25. Gotta get use to ladies looking at a bald guy buying their shoes : )
I live in a small mountain town and we have a tiny Goodwill and an overpriced Salvation Army. However, we have several local independent stores that have the most amazing deals. One thrift store prices all of their clothing and shoes for a dollar. Yes, one dollar. It's a treasure hunt. Another one has clothing for 50 cents each. It's unbelievable profit even if they aren't the highest end items. Don't give up hope, everyone. Also, I wait for my local Plato's Closet to have their 90% off clearance sale. I really appreciate how you did this video. I get motion sickness really easy when I am watching a lot of motion on some videos(Like most people's sourcing videos). The way you showed the item then went to frozen screen helped me be able to actually watch the whole thing. Thanks! I also looked at my death pile that I spent time organizing today and then went sourcing! Now back to listing!

Thanks for that as I can stay in a store a couple of hours trying to find the great items. Right now because of the weather garage sales aren't many but when the Spring hits there should be like 50 on saturday to go to. Thanks so much and now to try and remember those brands.

I live near Flint, which is a pretty poor city and I still manage to find great stuff. Even at some of the not so great neighborhood thrift stores. It does take some digging. But there are gems to be found wherever you are!

I sell discontinued makeup on eBay and whenever I add fashion items to my store they just don’t sell! Clothes and shoes really impossible to sell for me. Another thing is where you live there are tons of high end items. Here in FL it’s just grandmas clothes.
I am glad you put the disclaimer. I think everyone needs to remember that this is not a live video. It is edited with the highlights of what you found. I am the same with lularoe. I will pick up certain plus sizes if it has a really interesting graphic or a style that people still like. I flipped a lularoe kimono in one day for a $25 profit recently.

I saw those same Vince Camuto shoes yesterday, but in tan. I wanted to get them but they were just a little too worn. I have a HD women jacket with chains I bought for I think $25, I still have it from 2 weeks ago. But I also bought HD women jacket and pants I also bought 2 weeks ago for $40, sold for $120 the same week. Customer did complain that the pants ran small. Love your channel, I have learned so much from you. ❤️

I just moved from the mid-west to the east coast and thrifting prices are so expensive in the places I had visited so far. I could do well selling bread and butter for $12 to $15 when I only pay $1 to $3 for it (and then I have my bigger sellers). I just won't be able to make money when I have to pay $6 for the same thing I used to pay $1 or $2 for. I am hoping to find higher quality items and up my prices, but so far I haven't found that much. I am hoping to hit up some yard sales when the time comes and trying to be not discouraged because I love my ebay business and hope I can make it work.
STAHM and a reseller life can be a bit isolating. Ignore that death pile! Put straighten those flyaway hairs, messy bun it, a dab of mascara and enjoy ur you time.
today I went to the bins... I found $2 inside some US Army PT Shorts and in the same bin... I found a vintage Adidas Kobe tee shirt... I was literally in and out of the bins in 5 minutes... and I donated the rest to the Goodwill LOL!! Had I not gone to the back bin I probably would've wasted a lot of time. LOL
I get what you are saying but on the same token I’ve NEVER found a rag and bone pair of jeans or two AG at the same store. I know it’s hard work. I thrift 4 times a week, put hundreds of miles on my car and come home empty handed.

I love selling jeans! Definitely my bread & butter. I noticed the AG jeans you picked up have stretch in the crotch area. Do you typically pick up jeans like that? I know I've sold some as a auction but the stretching makes the throw jeans back sometimes.

I would say to write down any brands that you know from Nordstrom, REI, and Anthropologie and start memorizing them before you go to sleep each night! That's what I did :)
If I could add my two cents to this. You can also look at sold listings for a certain price range and take note of the brands that are selling well. So if you want to find shirts that sell for $25 and up you would do a search for solds for that category and keep an eye out for what brands are coming up.

You find such great brands. All of our thrift stores are terrible, no good brands at all. My average profit per sale is $ 10.00. :( I even travel and thrift when possible. Thank you for your videos.

There always seems to be a thrift store smell on the clothing which I personally don't care much about but I could see being a potential deterrent to customers returning to you for future purchases. I always get so much out of your videos! Thank you! Question... When you go thrifting it can take hours to go through all the clothes. The next time you are in the same store do you go through them all over again or do you have a trick to maximize your time?
You find such great brands. All of our thrift stores are terrible, no good brands at all. My average profit per sale is $ 10.00. :( I even travel and thrift when possible. Thank you for your videos.

I've loved thrifting since I was a kid but just recently stumbled onto the reselling community here. Your videos are so informative and I really enjoy tagging along as you thrift! There always seems to be a thrift store smell on the clothing which I personally don't care much about but I could see being a potential deterrent to customers returning to you for future purchases. Do you notice this to be an issue or do you wash/steam your thrifted cloths prior to selling? Thanks and have a lovely day!!

I steam also and put a couple essential oil drops in my water to help freshen and remove odors
