I have put together a tutorial on how to better create animated camera movements in Adobe After Effects. #adobe #aftereffects #camera #tutorial #animation
Thank you very much for this! I've always found camera moves tricky, and this helped! I do have one question -is there a way to see the path of the null? I don't have ctrl-H on, but still can't see it. I tried looking in the timeline to see if I could change the spatial interpolation there, but apparently that's not possible. Obvious question: is this typical 'null object'-behaviour?
I thought in the past there was. I need to do an update and see. They keep changing little things in AFX. This year has had me a bit behind on content.
THIS my man is one of the best video on this topic that I have found. You really explained everything with ease.. Thanks a lot man.. Wondering why have you stoped to upload the videos. You have a potential to really grow big. Just one thing - could you tell me if there is anyway (and I guess there is) to connect obejects to rotate (face to) camera that is flying around it ? I mean I have rotoscoped video of piece of Granola, but as the camera flyaround the video is of the granola is warped in weird way and I would like to have this object still nice and 3D and not warped. Any options here ?
I’m sorry on the delay getting back to you. Hmmmmm idk if u solved this but I think it’s a scripted thing. Tho, I’m working on new content, so I will look into it!
Also I appreciate the question, honestly Covid massively changed my life and had some wonderful children, but I am back and planning on doing more. I just set up my recording studio after having it sit as a “closet” for the last few years.
hello there i try to do the z axis to create depth in after effects but it does not work, it comes all together, without parallax what am i suposed to do regards very good tutorial
the video was great but i literally watched it at 1.5x speed and it felt normal ...it was soo slow but chill ..ngl maybe that's the reason why I actually understood it ..Thankyou :)
@@westfoxcreative2824 emm you know we use multiple null layers to get that extra smooth motion, by ading keframes before on ending in another null layer. emm i dont remember why i hv commented it here, i think we cat get that multiple null layer option with what u hv shown here
best breakdown of camera movements i've found. thanks for this
ur voice is soo soothing, NICE TUTORIALL!
I used to use null objects in camera animation the wrong way till I watch tis amazing tutorial. Thank you very much!!!
Thank you! I’m glad it helped. I’m working on new content, any areas you would like to see a tutorial on?

Thank you so much ! Im a amv editor that makes edits with camera, i always asked my self how to make the rotation so clean as u did :) tyyy
Any areas on editing you would like to see a tutorial on?
Thank you so much!!
You're welcome!
I always use this method with cameras now in AFX. great tutorial.
I appreciate it! Thank you!

Glad you like it!
your voice is so calming

Thank you! You explained it in a better way. Do you have any tutorial , where camera follows a specified path. Lets say around 3d object or objects?
Do you still need help with this?
@@westfoxcreative2824 Thank you for the reply. Not needed!🙂
If you skipped the step at 5:30 would everything work about the same but allow you to pivot around the Point Of Interest?

how do you saprate position x y ?

You need to turn the artwork layers into a 3D layer.

It’s funny cuz in real like most people think I talk to fast lol 😂
Soo null basically separates x-y-z keyframes for changing one without affecting others ?
Correct.
so what if we need to add more null for smooth movements
Not sure what you mean, if you can elaborate more I can make a tutorial on it. :)

Еще видео плиз по Null Object
Understang noting 🙂
Any areas that you would like a tutorial on?
nice tutorial
but
dude it is so long way to do that , why don't you use seprate dimensions?
agreed.....
Not sure what you mean, I’m definitely interested :)
when do i use only camera and when camera and null
I personally only use the null when I’m moving the camera. Tho I think they are helpful in many cases.
Really cool method of camera control. In future please remove the repetitive beat haha
Thank you 🙏
You lost me, Camera Control, Camera 1, Camera Position, pffffff....., i don't understand the heck off it, still......
No worries, is there an area you would like more tutorials on?
