- Today I'm creating a high impact hardscape in the tiniest aquarium I've ever worked with! This is the UNS 16S and only holds 0.7 gal of water. In this build, I'll walk you through a full hardscaping tutorial and I'll fill you in on all of my tips and tricks for creating big impact in small packages.

Had me cracking up saying it was a f*cking nightmare 😂 we’ve all been there. Display is wicked good
haha glad you appreciated my dark humor there. Something about filming and working on a complex hardscape really tests me haha
@@LoganRandoAquascaping 😂 normalize cussing! If you’re not cussing building it, it’s not a good scape
Fell in love with this sun-weathered wood!
I love it too!
Just set mine up yesterday! I was waiting for your tips on a low tech scape like this 😂
Wow, crazy good timing. Hopefully you'll find the planting vid helpful in a few weeks as well
@@LoganRandoAquascaping yes I can’t wait 🙌🏼🙌🏼
cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago. Super cool hardscape. You could leave it as but of course you won't. For plants, definitely consider some air plants for up top, in keeping with desert feel. Maybe something that'll climb up the wood like hydrocotyle? If you don't want something winding up the wood consider a few "stalks" of Bacopa to play against the diagonal.
Thanks for the great suggestions! And while I formulate planting ideas, I must say I am still very much enjoying it as hardscape only.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Bocopa and ludwigia combination. I bought a nano filter that fits in my 16S. I cycled the tank first without plants, after two weeks, I planted it and I had no issues.
I'm very curious what nano filter you used
Rotala Bonsai would be perfect. Buce plant doesn't have it in stock rn but i hope they get some soon.
Great suggestion!
omg that thumbnail
"Tiny terrarium. MASSIVE WOOD" then this chum with a huge grin on his face 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hahaha I'm glad you get my humor
