This tank has been a journey but the result looks amazing! Ember tetra looks great in the tank and the contrast is nice when viewing the tank from further away.
It really has been a journey! More on that journey soon
Ember Tetras are such a great option. Tank looks amazing
Thanks a lot! I love having this one in my space
I bought 10 Ember tetras but after a few months I realized it turned out to be six Ember tetras and four Chili rasboras. Now I have to get more fish. I wasn't planning on keeping the Chilis in that tank but now I guess I'm going to have to.
Nice setup.
Glad you think so!
Looking good! The tank is nice as well. 😂
Thanks 👍
Would love to see what you feed them
Just a mixed diet of flake food and Fluval Bug Bites
Awesome iwagumi man! Dang now I want to do one with my 60u 😂 maybe after I use that big piece of driftwood I just got for it! Great fish choice bud!
Thanks for watching Darren! Glad you dig my fish choice. Happy scaping with your new driftwood!
@@LoganRandoAquascaping thanks bud! 👍
If you get them used to eating bloodworms or small chunked tilapia a violet goby will leave everything else alone. Can you imagine it would look like a dragon flying around your mountain scape
That'd be dope! Gobies are so cool
tank is looking great! good choice with the embers. small fish with big personality. also added them in my recent hakkai stone iwagumi setup if you wanted to check it out. 40 maybe a bit too many for a 60P though in my opinion.
Thank you! Glad you like the fish choice!
Beautful result! I hope the small openings are enough to keep shrimp fry safe. I'm looking into the glassware for my very first tank atm and planned to use a little sponge around the intake but visually that would be a bit of a downgrade ;)
So far so good! But you can't beat a sponge for guaranteed protection
Any tips on moving a well established tank with flourishing plants 😭 I’ll be moving in August & I’m so nervous
Drain down all water, and place wet paper towels over all plants. Remove any loose hard scape and fauna
Looks great!! curious where you get your fish in Sd?
Aquarium Warehouse
I still get shrimp sucked up in my intake. I ended up buying a mesh screen. also, those ember tetras are the worst to try and catch. ha
Definitely the safest option for your shimp
Hello, would the shrimp get sucked into the skimmer?
The new skimmer is on the outflow so if they did they'd shoot right out back into the tank. Previous skimmer was on the inflow
That’s something new! I thought skimmer are supposed to help take away the surface oil etc etc
Dude my cherries have babiess , they only been in my tank only 3 weeks
That's amazing! I recently had a baby explosion as well
ngl man im not a fan of your video style, but as a fellow socal resident i cant not subscribe
