Ok, we see it's full summer time in the park, the weather is wonderful. I imagine now you're in the streets, in the middle of the town, with changing lights, and often shadow : how, with the M3, would you take your photos? In changing your aperture with the shutter speed, or only in changing the aperture alone, keeping always the same shutter speed ? In other words : when you open (or close) the aperture, do you change the shutter speed? Thanx for the answer.
Hi! What lens or lenses are you using on M3 your videos? They look like Voigtlander and Leica 35mm. I assuming you frame using the whole viewfinder? I'm very excited to visit NYC at the end of the month!
Thank you. Yep I zone focus most of the time. Sometimes I have to rely on critical focusing though especially in lower light when I have to open up the aperture
Sweet photos, man! Out of curiosity, on your M3 were you using 35mm lens? The focal length looks like 35mm, but I heard that the M3 viewfinder is fit for a 50mm. Beautiful photos.
The full viewfinder outside the 50 frame lines is very close to 35 you have to really push your eye up to the viewfinder to get the 35 frame but it’s quite accurate when you get used to it. I also have the little color skopar from voightlander, tiny lens😀
For a day like this, I would just do Sunny 16. Kept it at f/16 and 1/250. But yes usually I'll use a light meter, either a Sekonic L308XU or a Lightmeter app in a pinch
the m3 viewfinder is 35ish edge to edge, you just ignore the framlines when composing, which as a matter of fact isn't hard since the selector will switch to 135 which are only a small patch in the middle anyway.@@qtwhat

Are you filming with an exposure meter? If you're not using it, how did you decide on the exposure?
