I like Ali's explanations, there straight forward and honest. Making a business out of a TH-cam channel that isn't about business is hard but it is possible. It takes time and patience.
Great video. Being a TH-camr is very similar to running a business. You should upload thing people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. When the growth is real, you should consider hiring people with different skills to help you continue to maintain a channel image that your viewers have in mind when they see your video. The most difficult part is starting and growing your channel from the bottom, but the good thing is that there is now so many tools to help us take off our channel. I am glad I did found one of them, it really made everything much more fun.

And I would agree, but Ali Abdaal first started off as a doctor and just began sharing his studying and productivity tips that ended up catapulting him into this TH-cam business. He's Based in a solid background and there is no doubt that he is incredibly intelligent after listening to hours of him speaking.

Most of these youtubers gives rhe vaguest idea ever. Honestly they all make there money from writing Clickbait Titles and promises something that they dont deliver on.
What exactly is the value of these TH-camrs? I think they are just pushing people into the "information trap", i.e. the erroneous belief that what's holding you back is lack of information (rather than the initiative to take consistent action in the right direction). They are the equivalent of junk food for the productivity junkies.
I love that you stopped the interview and added your personal notes and additional commentary to better understand specific topics. I took away much more from the interview than I otherwise would have. It's also why I pressed the "follow" button.

I am completely unique in that I am 80 years old & I want to buy a business to get immediate cash flow($10K+/mo) plus I want to create senior communities with my special design & tools to make their life better. Get seniors off of housing & food stamps to make them have more prosperity & will be able to leave a legacy for their children. Almost impossible for the young people to buy a home at today's prices & interest rates. However, if they get an inheritance to put up a large down payment to make it a reality.

I think they are just pushing people into the "information trap", i.e. the erroneous belief that what's holding you back is lack of information (rather than the initiative to take consistent action in the right direction). They are the equivalent of junk food for the productivity junkies.

Very good video and the bit about finding ones most unique advantage is probably the best one. Now I’m rethinking that for myself. What do people like to hear about personal finances? I have so many angles but yet to find the one that clicks with people!

I am completely unique in that I am 80 years old & I want to buy a business to get immediate cash flow($10K+/mo) plus I want to create senior communities with my special design & tools to make their life better. Get seniors off of housing & food stamps to make them have more prosperity & will be able to leave a legacy for their children. Almost impossible for the young people to buy a home at today's prices & interest rates. However, if they get an inheritance to put up a large down payment to make it a reality.
