    Really good series of videos. The best takeaway for me is to just have fun. It's not about finding that awesome net list - just play what you like and have a good time. Great job.

    Gonna correct you on Min 4:32
    Special weapons are open to all enforcers. So you can put Snipers and Concussion Carbines on Patrolmen (too save some points) and put the Bolter as more expensive weapon on your champions

    Great video , really gave me some perspective on how to setup this gang .
    Just wondering if there any reason why you can't take a normal enforcer captain and Sargent then have some subjugator patrol men to use as tanks to hold up enemies while you use other patrolmen as dps support ?
    I'm fresh as to this new necromunda and it seems alot more in depth than the 1995 version so it seems a little more to consider when making a gang.
    Like your more bros means more goes remark , that made me rethink the whole line up.
    Thanks again man , really helped me out

    Small correction on the needed Subjugators. Those have to be Patrolmen, Captain and two Sergeant as Subjugators and the remaining as normal Enforcers wouldn't be legal.

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree that is why I made Captain and the two patrolmen subjugators in my list. You could also make the sergeants subjugators but then you would be even more strapped for credits and probably only have like 5 guys. But good catch.

    you might want to try this and this is my fav starting list also check with your arbitrator but in the Palatine rules, it says under equipment They may purchase any weapons from the Palatine Weapons List, but otherwise have no weapon restrictions. that would include special weapons. So the normal ganger can have a carbine or sniper rifle.
    Subjugator Captain - 150
    Shock Stave - 25
    Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield - 40
    Skill: Bull Charge
    Total: 215
    Subjugator Sergeant - 110
    Shock Stave - 25
    Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield - 40
    Skill: Threat Response
    Total: 175
    Subjugator Sergeant - 110
    Shock Stave - 25
    Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield - 40
    Skill: Threat Response
    Total: 175
    Subjugator Patrolman - 80
    Shock Stave - 25
    Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield - 40
    Total: 145
    Subjugator Patrolman - 80

      Cool! I’m sure this will give others a good idea of what others start with. I personally always recommend 8-10 fighters for a starting gang because activation advantage is super important and you can upgrade those guys later with better gear/weapons.

      Ive used this list against new players. Havnt won a single game with it yet. Those shields just get pinned, fail a save and bottle soon. Cc gangs just maul that list.

    Hello,
    Great content! I really appreciate that!
    About Magnacels - right now I think all you can do it's just if you already in BtB just use Attack (Basic) action to put Magnacels on target and that's it. It is not a Simple so you can't Fight during this activation, you need some skills to do two Basic actions per activation.
    So, in my opinion, the best way to use it is just instead COUP DE GRACE put Magnacels on a seriously injured person if you need this for some reason.
    But legally you can do it only after you put him into this stage and you already in BtB.
    Pretty realistic I think.

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you are enjoying the content!
      GW has never addressed it so it’s really just up to the Arbiter. But if it the arbiter says an Attack action is NOT a Fight action then you can do two different basic actions during your fighters turn so you could do both as they are different (basic) actions. You can perform two *Different* basic actions but you cannot perform the *Same* basic action twice. Consider the Aim (basic) action. It would be useless if you can’t use a shoot(basic) action after the aim (basic) action.
      But if they rule that it IS the same as a fight action then you can use it whenever you would make a fight action such as after a charge.

    • @andreyvysher1452
      @andreyvysher1452 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I understand. It will be two Different Basic actions. Sorry.

    This does need to be pointed out if you are allowed to use the trading post normal grenade launchers are an option witch means you do not need to be an enforcer to get a grenade launcher just can only get the normal one

  • @hetzerfeind1885
    @hetzerfeind1885 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    How about a telescopic sight for the sergeant without fast shot? That way he goes to BS 2+ without considering cover. (Mono Sight could also work)

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hetzerfeind that would also be good but it is not on their gear list so you would have to get it from the Trading post. Some players avoid using the trading post as it confusing and I have seen good players can make pretty broken gangs buying up the best weapons/gear when they get ahead in credits.

    Have a Got your 6 champ go into the middle of a small area as a sentry with a shield and shotgun, use non verbal communication with ideally a patrolman who levels up to have a template sentry that can fire multiple times to deter charges and you can position around them instead of just in front.

    Hey great videos! I'm really drawn to the game and this faction, but I'm VERY overwhelmed by the amount of options in the game and list building. Where do you start?

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best place is buy the Necromunda: Rulebook and the House book for your preferred Gang. The good thing is much like Infinity from Corvus Belli the gangs are very similar but have preferred weapons/tactics so as long as you learn your gangs info you won’t get too surprised when playing a new gang.

    Just stumbled across these two reviews of the Enforcers; good stuff! I hear what you are saying about having as many bodies as possible - but how about the first list but minus one patrolman, and "upgrading" your ninth patrolman to a Subjugator Patrolman? Would that be viable/legal? I am thnking of getting the Dark Uprising box this November, and will be diving into the Enforcers for my next Necromunda campaign (so far I have only played Van Saar and am being told off, as they are "too good" :-)

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jørgen Bender you can upgrade a champ or ganger without needing to have a minimum number of other subjugators. And yes you can have less fighters in exchange for better weapons but it is risk vs reward calculation as Bottling is (in my humble opinion) how most gangs lose scenarios. And every time my auto gun carrying ganger drops a heavy weapon wielding champ and wins me the scenario I thank my stars I brought every basic fighter I could to that scenario. Having maximum allowed fighters has been my best method for winning campaign scenarios. Because all it takes is a moderately bad injury roll to ensure that heavy weapon champ is out for the whole of the next scenario and you will be wishing you had that extra ganger in your squad.

      As someone else put it, the Van Saar house could be accurately described as Necromunda's equivalent of 40k's T'au Empire. The reason why is that both are excellent shooting factions, but have poor close combat capabilities in comparison to other factions \ houses.

  • @PMMagro
    @PMMagro ปีที่แล้ว

    You cant switch between Palanatine - Subjugator. So Leader and Champions has to be one kind or the other at start (or when they die only you can buy the other kind).
    The requiremnet is Leader +2 patrolmen of the same kind, no requirement for Champions. The cheap one then is a Subj Champion if you want few of them?

  • @Lycurgus1982

    I have three questions. The Enforcer list says that patrolmen have no weapon restrictions. Does that mean that you can have every patrolmen carry a carbine and/or a sniper rifle in a list? As far as I can tell there is nothing stopping a player from only upgrading patrolmen to subjugators and giving them the subjugator weapons to keep the points down. Is this correct? I have also read that the subjugator upgrade has been FAQ to give hardened flake armor. Is this correct? Thanks

      @@StaticElf sorry, when I said hardened flak armor, I meant layered flak armor. So combined with their under armor they increase their armor save to 4+. Not bad for 80pts on a patrolmen. I don't think that the enforcers have the special weapons restrictions that the other gangs do. I might be mistaken, but the list just says no restriction in their respective weapon selection. I upgraded two patrolmen to subjugators in a 1000pt. list. One with an assault shield and the other with a grenade launcher without making them too expensive. Whatever points I earn will go into krak grenades for the launcher and a hardcase cyber mastiff!

    Since Enforcers come with “free” equipment and get free replacements, would starting with a swarm of 10-12 be a viable strategy?

    • @StaticElf
      @StaticElf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Bodies are always more valuable than powerful weapons/equip in a starting gang. (In my opinion) Even the most decked out and buffed up gangers will be overwhelmed if they are heavily outnumbered. You cannot underestimate how much of an advantage it is to be able to have 3,4,5 extra ganger activations each turn. You can always save your champs and leaders to go after ALL of your opponents gangers have gone and they have no way to respond until the next Round if anyone is left standing.
