I feel like Kesha pulled together all the pieces of her previous work and experiments over the years and put them in a blender to make something that has the energy of her early albums with the perspective she has now
I love this song, it's great to have the old Kesha back. This reminds me of Kylie's song Padam Padam, there is a red theme, the song is catchy, dance and short
Thinking about it now, Kesha recently performed a song called "Cathedral" (I totally recommend checking that performance out; it's part of her TED talk), which I assume will be on her new album, and now she basically has a Gregorian chant-styled pre-chorus for "Joyride". I wonder if that was intentional, maybe a bit of a motif in this new record, or just a random choice.
It’s old Kesha matured by the production quality and sonic design from Gag Order. Listen to the song more than once because it’s so unique compared to what’s out there, it takes a moment to adjust your ears and connect the dots. The more I listen, the more this song slaps!!!
I’d be willing to bet this song will be received the same way Gaga’s Perfect Illusion was. I fell in love with perfect illusion the moment I heard it and it took quite some time to get some traction. I feel this song will take a little while to get momentum. It’s really grungy and it is incredibly funky and she’s made a lot of bold choices, artistically, but I feel she did the same back in 2009. This song feels like 2009. You can bet she’s gonna make waves thoo.
I feel like as an independent artist she could be as bold and experimental as she could be! Love her sound and I can't stop listening to this song! BTW Perfect illusion is one of my favorite songs by Gaga too
I love this song, its so different, like you said its too unique to do well on the charts. I love the accordian/polka sound so much. She is not going for the Taylor Swift sound she is doing more of a Kate Bush thing where you do your own thing.
Paolo is absolutely GORGEOUS!. There's this sexiness about him that turns me on big time!... I mean DAYUM!!!!.. oh yeah, and I liked a lot the beat of the song, very danceable.
Please react to kesha's gag order album she made an masterpiece art with that album. It's alternative album produced by Rick Rubin fully so it's really ears blessing. Also there's tracks that sounds very unique. Sadly the album was heavily sabotaged by her label but it was her last album to full the contract and now she's releasing music as a independent artist ❤
I don’t know what it is with pop music but I feel like a stupid basic b, after listening to this. I guess it’s for the masses. Sad that parents let their kids get indoctrinated by this crap. How do you compromise a society? By loose morals, with no consequences. Kesha has always represented that. Gross.
Music is the greatest thing in the world for me. Also, everyone has the right to listen to whatever they want and feel connected to. If you don't like it, don't listen to it... Simple as that... And for the parents influencing kids with their musical taste... I can't be the one to judge since I don't have kids... But I'm pretty sure there are serial killers that listen to Christian rock, so I don't know what's the corelation between music and behavior 😉

Exactly!! I'm currently addicted to listening to it getting my serotonin fix!!

That would be so cool! Artistic freedom suits her so much! ❤❤❤
@@paolo_reacts I guess we'll find out when the album comes out. 😁
So happy she's able to be herself, on her own terms.
Also, you're WAY too handsome. It's insane.
Yesss, independency suits her!
Also, thank you for the compliment 😘♥️
I've never been much of a Kesha fan but THIS SONG SLAPS

In my book creativity is much more valuable than chart positions! Kudos to Kesha for doing what she does best! ❤

Yes, I totally agree, this remind me of the old Kesha. And like you said if it's good, it's good, regard of the chart.

Its certainly different. But also kinda like the old Kesha. Its kinda a hate crime that she waited until after Pride to release this though. oh well.
