I never have used them. The only thing may be the membrane (I’m not entirely sure that’s what it’s called) on the fresh mandarin that might be a little different. The canned have that removed from the fruit. You could always try it! I would love to know how it goes
Hey 🙋♀️ Im from Denmark 🇩🇰 I have never seen anything like this. I would love to try this. But we dont have original jello in Denmark, or it is very difficult to get. Can you make this without the vanilla jello pudding? And substitude the cool whip with whiped cream? Thank you 😄
Hi:). Nice to hear from you! It’s a delicious recipe and so easy. I hope we can figure out a way for you to try it! Do you have non jello brand orange gelatin and instant vanilla pudding available there? I often use a off brand and not always specify Jello. Cool whip is slightly different than whipped cream but you can make something that tastes very similar with some simple ingredients. I can link you the recipe I have used to make Cool Whip homemade if you would like, or you could google it. Look for is recipe that has gelatin in it…seems like that helps make the difference between whipped cream and Cool Whip.
@@mamashalldo We do not have cool whip in Denmark 🙈 I dont know if you can get the ingredients to make it 😄 We only recently tried jello 🤪 We can get off brand jello just not the pudding, the Danish kind is very different 🙈 I know this because I found a lot of different kinds of original jello brand online, but we cant buy it anymore.
I’m sorry it is so difficult to find the ingredients there:(. We had an exchange student several years ago and she could never recreate some of her favorite American foods because she just couldn’t get the ingredients. Here we have international grocery stores. That sell foods from different countries. Do you have anything like that?
@@mamashalldo Yes we do have stores like that 😄 But it is mostly asian foods, we dont have many of the original american brands, it is a very small section of the biggest stores. I love to try american desserts, I have tried to make a many of them 😁 Thank you so much for writing me and your great content 🙋♀️

Love the new video intro and logo! ❤
Thank you 😊
Can fresh oranges be used instead of the canned mandarins?

Is this a double recipe?
I personally made a double batch but the instructions and ingredients listed are for a single batch. Seems like I double most recipes🙃
@@mamashalldo Yes, I got that. I was being sarcastic because you only said you were making a double batch 52 times.
@ I’m sorry! I don’t remember exactly what I said anymore. I probably didn’t want to confuse anyone as to why the amounts looked different🙃
