Hello All, here is a quick review after using the TV for about 6 months: so far no issues, clarity wise I am not fully on board if you are am hd fan then invest some more and go with Samsung or Sony, sound quality good, i see some waves like movement on idle screen probably due to mediocre display, overall viewing has been good so far but not that great colours reproduction. It doesn't have wifi not a smart tv, but that's is the advantage that snayo have invested on other vital tv components, you can always go with casts to convert it to smart. The smart plug works well so far and it is 16 amps rated. Enjoy!

@SamarthShamarao : do it upscale the normal SD contents from SET top box, or it pixalate ? How it looks like with normal SET TOP box out on tv and is there any setting to make it proper ??? Need to see my HD movies some time and Set top box daily soap for my family other times !
just ordered for the 49 inch. I see you reviews this a year ago and said you would do another review after using. I'm getting it in 3 days and I'm hoping the picture quality is decent on Netflix and Amazon. of course I don expect it to be as good as Samsung or Sony but expecting it to be satisfactory at this price. what do you think ?
Yep it beats quality of any competition in the price range, i am using fire stick and it works like a charm. Fire stick has converted the tv to a fully functional smart tv.
Thanks for such a detailed video. I think you have to put good amount of effort to show the HDMI connectors at the bottom behind the TV. Could you please check the box and tell me the name of the manufacturer? Vu TVs are being manufactured by HiSense, I wonder what Sanyo took as their OEM.
Had a plan of buying this TV but backed out of it since Amazon quoted a price far greater than Sanyo did.. 47K when Sanyo itself priced it at 35K on their website.. Moreover, it was a new entrant, so thought I'd get a flood of feedback before purchasing it... So, the million dollar question.. Do you really feel this TV "IS" worth the money ? Is it a good investment cause 31K is a significant amount of money for me and I don't want to have any regrets after buying it.. could you please give me your unbiased review of the TV you purchased
Mark Fernandez this is my personal opinion, so please feel free to defer. I think the tv is pretty decent for the price its offered. But do keep in mind it has no great features as offered by big branded products. For me i think the purchase is worth it.
Hey Mark - I have gone for the same TV from Sanyo 49 inch. The Big screen experience is what the biggest takeaway from this TV. The rest is basic to average like the UI experience and the remote quality and very low sound quality too. I initially order it at 35k but later cancelled it and went with the lightening deal of 31k plus cashback! All in all worthy product from a fairly well known moderate brand!
Yeah.. the sound issue will always be there in low-budget TVs. .thats a given.. I'm more worried about the picture clarity and Samarth had mentioned that its a bit vivid and dull I'm a little apprehensive.. anyway.. I'm waiting for an indepth review from you guys if url have the time to make a video.. thanx
Abhishek Kumar so far so good, but i notice that the sharpness and crispness of the picture quality is way below par, the picture seems to leave trails and sometimes blurry, surprising for a 1080p display!
