How is it after 7 hours the audience still has no idea who Carolyn Polhemus is/was as a character and therefore have no idea who else might've had reason to kill her? The book is 500 pages long, so they should've been able to tell the whole story in 8 hours without leaving Half of it out.
Bravo, sir. I agree fully with Tommy and the medical examiner. I think Raymond is a spicy option. With the book and original film as inspiration, the play on words with the title all along is that the real killer is presumed to be innocent. A child of course would be presumed to be innocent - but the series definitely wants the audience to see the motive of Carolyn’s son. I could see the father covering up for him, but no real motive for the father if they had been divorced for seven years. It also doesn’t explain how well they left the crime scene. But the same could be said for another one of my theories. Back to my point - my two bets would be Raymond or Rusty’s daughter. I don’t think there’s much of a dominant reading for them to be assumed as guilty, so they’re presumed innocent in every sense. I can share more if interested.
Definitely wrong about the guilty person for the attack, but happy that the 2 person theory ended up on target. Yes this show did a very good job of misdirecting to other suspects!
I believe the prosecutor is a possibilite, but there is the guy who was elected, he would have political reasons for this. My bet goes to the pair of boys, Carolyn’s son and Rusty's son.🎉
Could be. What do you think his motives would be? It feels like the only real motive is passion, whether that is anger from the families for ruining their lives. Or passion for her leaving. Tommy, Nico, Dr K don't seem to fit that bill, at least not against her. Unless they were also in a relationship...
@@thescreensleuths thinking twist. It should be the mom, right but maybe the kids. Daughter then brother helped stage it and clean up. Totally guessing! Enjoying the series and your vids thank you
@@thescreensleuths only other person not suspect…Nico! Close enough to control. Put a stop to Carlolyn HR complaint and revenge against Rusty and Raymond.

I guess we will find out next episode 👍🏻 since season 2 is a total different case.
I completely agree with your first choice of dual killers.
I'm (Chris) really torn between 1 & 2. Rob has a really good theory with the Caldwell's, but Rusty is my 1a lol
Can't wait! 🕵🏻
@@thescreensleuths I think the ex-husband said they had been divorced for 7 or 9 years.
Great video, keep dropping videos
Thanks! 🕵🏻 That's the plan!
Excellent commentary.
Thanks! So who is your best guess?

Interesting choices! 🔍 I can't wait to see his it plays out.
Thanks for the comment!
Your number one is the same as mine. Good review
Well, fingers crossed 🤞🏻for next week! But they did a great job keeping us guessing to the end!
Thanks for the support as usual! 🕵🕵
Don’t discard Tommy. Somebody ready mentioned that that fire poker left t Tommy is NOT the murder weapon
So why leave it?
Not seen your video yet, but to me the main suspects are Rusty's kids.
WHAT?! Season 2?!?!?!?! 🤯
Yup. New case!!! 🕵🏻
SO wrong weren't you? anyways, points to how good a show this was.

Def 2 people
Or
Rusty 2 personalities 😮
Hence our 1 & 2 😂 but Barb & Kyle isn't bad...
Rusty’s son.
Him alone or combo? Seems unlikely it would just be him, it could be a similar situation to our #1 but with Kyle & Barbara.

@@thescreensleuths only other thing that made me think the kids….Tommy’s open window. A kid could climb through that.
It was the wife
Just the wife? 🕵🏻
