I used to spend my free time watching dramas, movies, anime, etc. But since I discovered your channel, I became super addicted to carpet/rug cleaning videos that I feel like I need to watch it whenever I have time. I watch it when I wake up, having coffee or snacks, sometimes when I eat, before work, after work, during bedtime, literally whenever I can. It's like my stress reliever. Here in the Philippines, when someone watches videos like these, their first thought is "You're already a TITA". Tita means "aunt" or "middle-aged woman". I'm ONLY 28. 😅 I don't mind, though. It's relaxing, so what. I can watch carpet cleaning videos, and also, those where people squeeze sponges with excessive products on it to produce foam. 😂 I like these stuff, so I'm gonna mind my own business. Sorry, just felt like sharing.
I’m just so amazed how good you get things. People throw away so much stuff to landfill that actually is useful and if it was cleaned or repaired it would still be useful. Thank you for doing your bit for the earth.
It's been a horrible week of bad news and stress and I didn't think about what day it is and here you are. Relaxing and distracting my mind from the negative. All the angles are just so satisfying. Another fantastic job James. 👏 ❤️
@@MountainRugCleaning same, Ive just finished week 2 of 5 taking my daughter into radiotherapy and chemo 😔 Your videos take me away for a little while 🥰💙💙
I love watching these videos and I couldn't figure out why. But after a long day of working in an office with executive administrators and attending countless meetings, I come home, put on my music and watch YOU work. The satisfaction that I get is that when you are finished working, something actually got done! and Done WELL. thanks.
Your videos are my favorite of all the rug cleaning videos. You do things that not all the other rug cleaners do that make watching these so much more satisfying like squeegeeing the floor, flooded cleaning, and using the wet vac.
Yeah I haven't watched these since I moved states in May and this is the only channel whose name I remembered & came back to... just such a thorough cleaning, so good right before bed.
An absolutely smashing episode! I was glad to see the CRB make an appearance. He had been oddly absent in the last couple of submissions. I believe that in this particular case, the manual brushing was the determining factor; that masterfully swept away all remnants of soil, and particles of pollen. Well done! Tea, and lemon scones are the order of day to relax within the hearth of your dwelling. Cheers!
The squeegee camera is a great idea, but it actually makes me a little nauseated when I watch it-I also can't watch other people play first-person shooter video games, either. I'm glad not everyone has the same experience.
That was amazing. Am surprised the whole rug didn’t fall apart after being under a tree that long. Well done 👏. Would love to see a video of how you clean up your work area after finish the rug please.
I watch rug cleaning videos when I need a stress relief, got a few subscriptions. I ALWAYS watch yours. I think it is because you tend to vary things a bit, responding to what is needed rather than a set program. Nailed the editing again.
Having a stressful week and I cannot seem to keep my kids well. And since no matter how much I clean my house, it always looks like I did nothing. So I’m watching someone else clean. Thanks!
Hi, James! Been following your channel for few months now, and I could say your contents are very theurapeutic! 😊 Do you frequently do live-session in some of your channels? If you haven't you may consider doing one, once in a while... Live session from the workshop, from the rug's new home, heck maybe even from the junkyard! Don't have to be too frequent, make it for special occassion (1,5M subscriber). It gives something new and exciting, and a spark for the newcomers to stay! Just a food for thought. Overall... Keep up the quality content! Greetings from Indonesia! 🙌
Love the transformations and the care you take in bringing them back to life. Only one of a few I watch religiously now, along with @slappedham and @lawnjuggernaut.
I had difficulty trying to figure out the colour of this rug. I thought that it would be either gray or beige. Great job getting it cleaned to be re-used again.
I absolutely love your channel. I used to subscribe to other rug cleaners but am now addicted to only yours. I love the POV camera work & also look forward to the 5 minute clean videos too 😊 Can you please explain the advantages of underwater cleaning? Doesn’t the soil get back I to the rug? Thank you so much & keep up the great work! From the USA
You bathed it!!!!!😍😍😃😃😃🎊🎊👍👍 I love this! You really do clean them up properly. The other channels I watched so far didn't do it like you. Now I know it can be done!!! ❤👍 Not only relaxing video, but cool skills video
I recently discovered you. Your cleaning method is so therapeutic. So I went back to about a year ago to watch a few of your videos, and I was getting so pissed off 😅 "why is he using a brush instead of the squeegee when removing filth and excess water on floor around rug!?" "Omg!!! He's all over the place with the power washer! Why is he not going in straight lines!?" I gave up and went back to your more recent videos to get my therapeutic relaxing mode back. 😅 Great job on evolving and perfecting your methods.
definitely the dopamine i needed at 12:36 in the morning edit: just experienced even more dopamine seeing the rotary with big googly eyes on it and the r2-clean2. i love this.
Hey guys, Please check out my affiliate store - mountainstore360.com I have listed lots of helpful cleaning items including everything I use in the videos. I get a small commission for anything purchased, at no extra cost to you, Which helps me to make these videos. Thankyou
The carpet was covered with foam when you used the CRB machine. It was soooo satisfying. Well, I really do like foam, and though I know that it's clean yet, I actually wanted to touch and play with it. 😄
this rug should have been put somewhere to thoroughly dry out, through and through, and then put through Jakob's rug beating machine to knock a couple 2 or 3 kilos of dirt and debris out of it, and then been given a through washing. Might have saved on a couple hundred gallons of water and cleaning solution. 😄 Never thought there was gonna be an end to the process and have clean rinse water from it.
You're getting really good at this James! If you ever get tired of squeegeeing muck you could start a new career as a video editor. 😁 I half expected to see a couple saplings that sprouted from the nuts buried in that pile by some squirrels! 🤣
Another great video! I do question why you decided to roll it up at 5:31 to wring the water out before treating the back side at all. Wouldn't this introduce soils from the back side into the freshly shampooed carpet surface? Clearly it didn't matter too much, since it turned out gorgeous, I'm just curious if there was a reason why you did that.
Can I ask a couple of questions.. how long does this typically take? How much would you charge for a job like this? Also..how do you empty the water trough at the end? TIA x
he has said before it takes at least a couple hours per rug when he isn't filming...he has small pumps to empty the water out of the drain...he doesn't charge for these rugs he donates them...not sure what he charges customers...
I wish you hadn't shown the spoilers at the beginning - one of the best parts of your videos is guessing what colour the rug originally was!
That's a fair point. I find they tend to get better views though so i kind of have to. Ill do one next without
@MountainRugCleaning you could add a time stamp to skip the spoilers maybe?
I hate they way they show it too.
personally i like having the clip at the start - just a preference
I said the same thing I like to guess lol

So that the excess water would go down without having to broom it off.
