ACTUAL final bossfight after having done two fake final bossfights! I didn't bother to do it without hits because you are invincible anyway. Also its a pain to restart the level because it's exclusive to story mode and restarting it means going through the same cutscene over and over.

I love the whole turnaround of this fight. You become the boss. He's powerless to harm you, and the more he tries, the worse it hurts him. The only way to "fail" this level is if you don't shoot him and outright avoid his attacks, which is surprisingly more difficult than just winning.

In the first phase the boss tries to normally kill you, but his spikeballs start popping from your deadly blasts
In the second phase the boss realizes how powerful you are, and tries to defend using spikeballs to surround him (but that fails)
In the third, he desperately smashes into you, but he just takes even more damage
Then, he finally dies...

honestly this is just the perfect ending to the story. developers did an amazing job. it's not a game just about dodging pink to music. it's so much more

From the vids I’ve watched this seems like a fairly easy game, but it was really well designed ngl. I loved the simple yet riveting style, as it focused on aynchronizing both design AND gameplay, which you don’t see many games do. Masky nailed it pretty well but was kind of repetitive, Crypt of the Necrodancer came close to perfect, and GD only syncs both of them if the creator of a level chooses to be cool, though it isn’t mandated. Everything about this game here seems to be based on the music alone, and that’s pretty impressive, qnd more than makes up for the fact that there’s not much to see.

When you where running from your problems the whole time but then one day you had enough and just face it.. Only to relize you could have easily dealt with most of it from day one:
Such a good way to send this game off and to enforce the games message of it not being over t'ill it's over
This game, while its not even a real rhythm game and do dimple in its colour and shape style, is possably the most emotional and wonderfull music game ever!
