ACTUAL final bossfight after having done two fake final bossfights! I didn't bother to do it without hits because you are invincible anyway. Also its a pain to restart the level because it's exclusive to story mode and restarting it means going through the same cutscene over and over.

I love the whole turnaround of this fight. You become the boss. He's powerless to harm you, and the more he tries, the worse it hurts him. The only way to "fail" this level is if you don't shoot him and outright avoid his attacks, which is surprisingly more difficult than just winning.

In the second phase the boss realizes how powerful you are, and tries to defend using spikeballs to surround him (but that fails)
In the third, he desperately smashes into you, but he just takes even more damage

From the vids I’ve watched this seems like a fairly easy game, but it was really well designed ngl. I loved the simple yet riveting style, as it focused on aynchronizing both design AND gameplay, which you don’t see many games do. Masky nailed it pretty well but was kind of repetitive, Crypt of the Necrodancer came close to perfect, and GD only syncs both of them if the creator of a level chooses to be cool, though it isn’t mandated. Everything about this game here seems to be based on the music alone, and that’s pretty impressive, qnd more than makes up for the fact that there’s not much to see.

Just Shapes & Beats is a face-paced rhythm game developed and published by Berserk Studio. It features a unique gameplay style where players control a shape as it navigates through challenging levels filled with obstacles and intense boss battles.
for those people who think that in this level the player is the bossfight, i dont really think so...before this level starts, we can see, that some friends of this cube are trying to reanimate him, and then this bigger cube is trying to reanimate this smaller cube with electro shocks, and then a bright light comes from the cube and the camera is zooming in the cube and then the level starts. my theory is: that the soul from this cube is angry now, and it want to take revenge now. therefore you can attack the boss. and why you cant take damage in this level is, because the cube just build around themself and energy shield full of light.
MrEpicGCate that technically means that you have become the boss fight, annihilate is that thing's song, this is the player's song. also all the bosses were able to attack while the player got broken the more they got hit
