    Actually the best review on this guitar I've seen. To be honest, I like this format of review-videos. You did this better than many channels with 100x more subscribers in my opinion. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

    This is the fifth review I’ve watched on these Harley Benton tele’s and they’ve all raved about them. This video put me over the edge to pull the trigger on a black one. A black tele style with binding always grabs my attention. This will be my first tele.

    Excellent review and I love what you play and how you play it. It really gives an accurate idea of what this guitar sounds like. It's a beautiful guitar and Harley Benton continues to amaze me with the quality of its very affordable guitars. Even with the $90 shipping from Germany, they are a bargain. And they usually arrive in Brooklyn, NY locale within a day or two via UPS - not sure how they do that, since the shipping history shows they do indeed ship them from Germany. Thanks for your excellent overview of this model. I agree with others here - the format, straightforwardness and content of this review is superior to many others on TH-cam! I already own a few Harley Bentons, and I certainly don't NEED another guitar, but this review makes me…er…um…want this guitar!

    6-saddle bridge for ultimate action, proper 3/4 way switch and pots, and some tuners are good upgrades, will be still cheaper than a CV then, while providing even better experience.

    • @KrenarCilkuGuitar
      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think all those mods will bring you to the pricepoint of a stock Classic Vibe... I have a Classic Vibe, love it to bits, especially after modding it but playability wise, the Harley Benton is better. Cheers!

    • @shaky_lifts
      @shaky_lifts ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KrenarCilkuGuitar I meant budget HB parts, bridge is 29, tuners are 20, switch is 6, 2 pots are 10. Plus a B-stock guitar is an option to shave off the price.

    Love this T-Fiddle, I have four. At 7:38, I've never inserted my strings into the tuning post hole, I simple thread it horizontally through and wind it up 3-revs, works every time in perfect tune but takes some practice.

    Thank you so much Krenar for this great review! You know I have been researching a lot lately about buying a used squire affinity which would cost me even more and the result would be much more inferior to this...So I have ended up in this specific model (for my sound taste) and your video was the cherry on the top of the cake! I would be grateful if you could also share what sort of gear you use (effect pedals/vst, amp etc) to produce that amazing warm mellow sound. thank you in advance, Panagiotis

      Thank you so much for the kind words, man! I really appreciate it! For this clip specifically, I used the HX Stomp plugged straight into my audio interface. If I remember correctly, I was using the deluxe reverb amp model with a spring reverb and I always like to add a touch of room reverb in post to my tone (izotope neoverb) . Hope this helps, cheers!

    thanks for the cool review andgreat playing. Would be great a direct comparison between the te-52 and te-62. Or showing the te-62 with a good vintage pickup to see if this way it can compete with the te-52 (which sound better but it's really too heavy)

      Hey man, thanks for the kind words! I used to have one of the early te-52 a long time ago and yes, it was heavy! I have a lot of pickups from my friend at ToneHatch pickups that I want to try on this Harley Benton so stay tuned for that! Cheers!

    Well my SC550+ cost a lot more but it is among the best guitars I own (I have Gibsons) so now I want to see what HB can do for less than half that cash. 10 bucks cheaper as B stock too! Gonna put Toneriders in it. Very excited, it sounds great stock already. And as a Les Paul guy this is the first Tele I find truly beautiful.

    any chance you would make guitar covers of songs from your cultural origin (or tutorials for that matter) ? Just for the fun of it. Pop, Rock or even traditional Folk Songs. Maybe you'd gain some new subs from those living in the US or so... I was surprised when you mentioned where you're from on Gear Street. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing. Don't make too much noise, we don't want your Austrian neighbors to get irritated.

    It sounds very dark for being a Tele... which I think is the Helix thing to blame... it would be more of an honest demo if plugged into an amp that doesn't color the tone so badly... like just a simple Fender clean amp... there's just too much blind hype about the Line 6 Helix stuff, but I think this is a great example of NOT to trust your tone to a Helix...
