    The TRX4 is a great platform and yours performs well even with the added weight. I’ve got 3 TRX4 platforms with all 3 built to perform differently …..Great video as always!

    I didn’t originally think I would, but the more I think about it, the more scale my current build will be in the end. I’m really liking a lot of these details

      Scale for the win!

    That interior combined with the inner fenders just really make the finish on this truck. That's very cool. For me, the more "scale" the car is in both appearance and driving experience, the more enjoyable the overall result is. Even when it sacrifices some capability or performance. You've nailed it all 'round with this. That's quite a nice looking and performing machine you've got there.

    Mate, I ❤ that interior! Just finished 2 of the TRX4 Sport kits and gave them to 2 of my 12 grandchildren!

    I've been tooling around with mine recently. Small changes seeing what helps or hurts. Just adding brass chubs and outer only in front. I found a pretty good quality 2 speed transmission also. Running 2.2's and it does amazing on rocks and trails. Great video.

      Very good. I lifted my Bronco in a similar way: th-cam.com/video/TNPq8ZgN7OQ/w-d-xo.html
      Satisfying when you get it set up how you like, eh!

      My sport kit build is now a bronco lol. Love it but I'm keeping it low.

    • @RCTNT
      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Low is good for crawling, no doubt about it!

      It just kills me to roll the beautiful body lol.

      Haha yes, hard bodies even more so! As Kev says though, "I'm not in it!" 😁

    I love my TRX4 Sport. It was the first 'scale' crawler I'd owned, after a Gmade R1 got me hooked. That interior looks great, and thats something i need to look at, as i hate seeing wires through the windscreen!!
    I am running some cheap beadlocks, but kept the stock tyres, but have cut the smaller of the middle tread blocks out, as i found the mud i have locally was clogging the tyres up, and it helped clear that, and gave me more grip.
    Its a great car, and nice to have a choice between that, and my FTX Paso, which is modding along nicely. 😎👍🏻

      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bet that tyre mod helped in the mud, that sounds like a good idea. Glad you're enjoying your rigs 😁

    I walk my trx4 almost daily. Currently it looks nothing like what you have there. I use two balloons with a squirt of silicone to waterproof the receiver.

    I don't have a trx4 (yet) but on behalf of those that do, I thank you for the video. It's nice to see you revisit and update a vehicle thats been on your channel for a while. It's looking good! Did you design the inner fenders?

    • @RCTNT
      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks 🙂 I didn't design these ones. No need to reinvent the wheel (fenders)! Several designs already floating around out there!

    I love my trx4 sport I bought the rtr so didn’t come with the expedition rack but I’m not bothered as I don’t want the added weight up high I’ve done a few upgrades

    • @RCTNT
      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice. They're satisfying to upgrade eh.

      @@RCTNT I’ve lifted the body posts, raised the sliders, flipped the bumper mounts and trimmed the body looking at relocating the shocks

    To make these changes to it, would you say its better to start with the kit or the rtr version?

    • @RCTNT
      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd go with a kit, but it's personal preference, largely. It'll cost more but be quicker to start with an RTR, but totally doable either way.

    THE BOSS , mate, lol 😉👌👍, ,so question, how would a brushless combo crawler system work, on a 2 speed traily crawler, idea for you, bro, maybe try that combo brushless system you have in trx 4, in ftx tracker, what's ya reckons, sports,🤔🤔 😉👍

    • @RCTNT
      @RCTNT  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have this combo in several 2 speed cars, including the TRX6. It's brilliant.
