Thx for the nice review. Exactly what I was looking for (jacket). I bought it and i am not disappointed. Best regards and greetings from Germany! (Edit: spelling)
With the reinforced seat they should be absolutely fine for long periods sat in a wet cockpit. Again the recommendation would be after this kind of use, is taking the time to hose them down with fresh water and leave them to air dry.
Yeah they'd be absolutely fine for this, maybe even a touch over spec'd for that kind of work. That being said, they are windproof, waterproof and breathable so should be more than capable of handling that kind of treatment. Just take care when washing to follow the instructions properly and to use a specialist wash treatment and re-proofer like this one from Grangers. www.force4.co.uk/item/Grangers/2in1-Wash-and-Repel-300ml/8JC
Hello, It is very waterproof and windproof but doesn't have a great deal on insulation. This would be the outer layer of a multiple layer system to protect you from the elements. For warmth you'd want to add a fleece of insulated mid-layer jacket. See our choice of mid-layers here - bit.ly/3uZbex2 Hope this helps.
Hello, You should be ok in a Large, it is recommended for people around 182cm tall. It should be more than big enough to allow you to wear layers underneath it as well.
No the hood cannot be removed, it can be rolled up and stored within the collar, so kept out of the way and if you're good with your folding it up it doesn't feel too bulky.
Thanks very much for getting back to me.
I’ve got this jacket and I love it

Hey does this jacket last and dry fast enough if you are constantly in the water - fully wet?
Do you know if the trousers are suitable for sitting on a wet surface for longer periods ? Without leaking due to pressure ?

Thinking of getting the trousers for messing about in the woods. Do you think they’d be comfortable for walking around and getting muddy?

What size jacket is he modeling
Hello,
James is around 5'8 and is modelling a medium size jacket.
Can the hood be removed completely?
