Nemo Salsa 15 sleeping bag Review. Backcountry hunt in the Rocky Mountains, Wasatch Front. Overall great bag, love the spoon shape and extra width. Plenty warm, packable/compressible and super light.

Hey thanks abunch on tbis video.hope your doing more updated reviews on this bag..I was thinking on purchasing very soon...not entirely sure the differance on the nemo disco 15..im looking into that aswell

I have yet to put my hands on a Nemo Disco so I couldn't give you any info from personal experience; however, from what I have read, it looks like a more updated version of the Salsa. Overall, it's pretty similar but has Nikwax hydrophobic, water-resistant down rather than DownTek, Thermo Gills which supposedly extend the temperature range of your bag on milder nights and a waterproof foot box. The Disco looks pretty impressive but is 3oz heavier which isn't necessarily a deal breaker because you would still be under 3lb for bag, which is my goal with sleeping bags.
If the Disco was available when I was searching for a bag I would've bought the Disco. I do love the Salsa though. I used it last year with 18" of snow and single digit Temps for a 5 day backcountry deer hunt in the Rockies and it exceeded my expectations. I am about to use it again in a few weeks. Overall, I still give the Nemo Salsa 15 a 5 star rating. Hope this helps.

What is the inner fabric on this sleeping bag? Is it slick or soft?
