Most of you probably know this but to make money is to deliver the packages as fast as you can. DON"T STOP till your done. The way to do that is have organized your packages to your route of travel and the biggest factor DO NOT let their map route you it will take all over town. Know what route and know the general area of the package location in your car keep locating package time under a minute. Pull up the map plan your route yourself. Deliver packages in section of the delivery area limiting your travel time. Doing it this you can cut your time up to half. You can easily deliver a 4 hour route in 2-2.5 hours. No joke! Hope this helps.
I do Flex here in Milwaukee I usually see 200 blocks available, and the avg pay for a 3 1/2 block is $75 - $89. For a 4 hour block you usually see $95 - $115. One thing I did notice was you can NOW cash out after each block like Uber! Not sure when that went “Live” but it’s a great benefit 💰💰💰
I'm in Cincinnati, and base pay fluctuates between $18.50 and $19.50 an hour. It is super easy to get blocks paying $22.50 to $25, and occasionally $27 an hour, though.
envelops in the front seat. Plastic bags in the front floor and big box in the trunk and I organize while I go. Usually done 30 min up to 1 hr before the schedule block end
Like in phoenix az you have to keep your engine on because the a/c and if you get a 20 per hour doesn’t worth its better flex i make 200 a day in les of 8 hours uber and doordash now are trash waste of time gas and you are risking out there for nothing 😢
I'm in southern California and the minimum pay is $24. I usually do the 3 hr shifts and I get $74 minimum. It's never been lower than that. I don't do it as often cause to me it's sometimes not worth it. A lot of times it takes an hour to get to your route, cause of traffic. They definitely need to pay us more.
This is isn’t my experience, but that’s probably due to location. I’m not in California but in New Mexico and they guarantee $18 an hour. That’s way past minimum wage here and for a part time gig it’s really not bad. In fact, I just got hired to do it full time and I got the job because of Flex. I’m getting paid a few dollars more now, so I like to think of Flex as training because I really have no problem with it and it’s very much worth it. It’s just you and the road, getting to listen to music and do a fairly easy job. I drive for fun as it is, may as well get paid for it.
Amazon flex, door dash, instacart and Walmart spark are probably a good job to do if you are on cost fire but I wouldn't do them because you still have to worry about helth insurance
A tip you may have never heard. If you shop with Amazon, the next time you get a package, look for the code that will be on the package. If you want to increase your chances of getting a route near your house, go to the Distribution Center the code on your package is from. The code can be three to four letters long
Still on waiting list. Looked like a dodge a bullet. SHIPT is very transparent with the assignments. Just got activated. Did 2 runs so far and I love it.
Loved shipt, i was late a few times and deactivated. Stay on time, and the cvs pharmacy picks ups were clutch too. I love amazon flex but i had both is be caked up
Here in south Florida is $18/hr. In this season of the year I see more blocks than before. Sometimes if you wait close to the time of a block you can find a better hourly rate, but, of course, this is great for somebody close to the warehouse. I do Amazon Flex but only from one warehouse, near home, the only concern is the milage, and this new option to cash out at the end of your route is a good improvement.
It took me 6 months to get on. Mike, it’s amazing. Those 18hr blocks are what they are 18 bucks an hour. There’s no bonus pay. I’m flexing in Idaho. The miles depend on the area you live in. My average miles per block is around 40-50 miles. There’s so many factors in why Flex is the best 100%. First off, you have massive peace of mind on what you’re guaranteed in pay. I take 2 blocks a day. Here’s an example, first block $81 2nd block $97. You tell me how long and mile you run on Uber eats and D-Dash to make that $ amount in 1 day. Consistently.
Never take base, learn the algorithm and how to catch surge blocks, I'm surprised you have not done any decent surge blocks I do get you get content out of base pay but any season flex driver will tell any newbies to not take base, BTW cash out or instant pay is now available after each block except grocery delivery 😊
I waited on the activation list for 4 or 5 months only to find out that the pickup spot is 20 minutes from my house. That means that I need to include that on every first bloc that I accept and since it's a side gig, many days I would only do the one bloc so just not worth it for me.
Here in Rochester New York the base pay is $21.50 an hour, but in the Southern Tier it is $25 an hour base pay but you are out in the middle of nowhere boonies, no cell service dirt roads, even the roads don't have names they have numbers.
As for organizing I put my 1-20 envelopes in front seat 20+ in the floorboard Then kind of do the same for the boxes 1-20 in back seat and 20+ in trunk. May deviate if a weird or large box but for me I always hated trying to find something if the customer is present lol
I never take routes at base pay because it’s just not worth it. For me flex has been a great source of income in my market (Texas) compared to the other apps that I am currently on. Also, my market is very saturated and it took me two years to get off of the waitlist.
No. The shifts usually show up around the time of the block the day before. For instance if you want a 7am shift on Friday, look for the shift to become available at or after 7am on Thursday and throughout the day. They will post the shift multiple times throughout the day. You just have to key an eye on it. Where I am Im allowed to book shifts a few days in advance. If thats not an option for you, just do the first thing I told you
I’m in the Napa Valley area and they started sending me way too far out during certain schedules. So now my fav shift is 3:3-7am, no traffic no matter where they send me
I got sent over an hour away.. near Canada.. once I got there the route disappeared.. even after/ logging in / out restart phone.. nothing.. drove starlight home after that.. still got paid
Some of the Flex trips are in my neighborhood and others 50 miles from my house. That has made Flex a hard pass for me since doing it for about 2 months
Hey Mike great video regarding Amazon flex. It’s waitlisted in my area. Had a question not related to Amazon flex but to DoorDash and uber eats. Apologies to keep bothering you but I had another question. What’s the minimum DOLLAR amount you aim for per order, and stacks (2 or more orders) and shop and pay orders. Thanks for the tip on the 1.75/mile minimum satisfactory target.
You’re wrong buddy… think about you’re gonna get ready to go to Amazon warehouse and wait there to get the packages and organize them before you’re going to your routes… it take you at least 45 minutes to one hour… then it take you probably 2:45 or 3 hours to finish your route for 3.5 hours and you probably end up going to 40 miles or more from your home and you have to drive back home… trust me I have done a route that over 40 miles before because you never know where you’re route is gonna be… I honestly it would take you more than 4.5 hours from going to the Amazon warehouse, delivery and then get home… I at first thought doordash is stupid but I end up making more money in 4.5 hours doing doordash than Amazon… because when you turn your apps on, there’s already an order for you… and you don’t need to go to 20-30 miles away like Amazon warehouse… I only stop doing doordash when I’m very close to house… I’ll reject everything that take me far away from my house when my schedule gonna end soon… but Amazon is different… that’s why I don’t do Amazon unless weekends when they offer $60 for 2 hours or $70 for two hours otherwise Amazon flex sucks…
I think it depends on the location but where I’m at it’s completely worth it, and I get paid around $20/hr on average, and on some days depending on how bad they need drivers you can get paid up to $25/hr. Maybe that’s because I drive as it is so I think of it as getting paid to do menial tasks as I do what I like to do already.
It's a hit or miss. For some reason I've only been seeing a couple blocks available lstely. I thought black Friday and holidays it would be crazy blocks available. I'm in good standing
If you want to make money on flex it simple do not take base pay wait for it to surge do grocery runs and the way to organize your packages at least at my station they're all numbered
I’m in Los Angeles and it all depends how you drive and push yourself I usually get. 3.30 hours for 87 I finish it in 2.30 hours i usually make 200 less the 6 hours daily
In new york its 90 for 3hour but its really 2 hours or less. U not showing the good batches just the wack ones. Dont knock it. Cause those are base pays
Not a huge fan of Flex. Closest warehouse for region they stuck me in is 25 miles. And then so far, they've taken me even more north. So tack on another 15-30 miles. The handful of blocks I've done, the minimum mileage I've done is ~85. But at this point I expect to have to drive closer to 120. I'm going to try and do this to get Level 2 just to see if I can get a closer region. If not, will only do it if the pay is worth it. Minimum where I'm at is $23.50 an hour, I think. With 100 miles each time, I'm still making money. But between that and time invested in delivering, I feel like I can do a lot better on Spark or even DD/UE. Particularly since I'll be driving less. But if I'm able to switch regions, am hoping the mileage will be better. Won't have to drive 30 miles to a warehouse at least.
$80 for 4 hours is Diabolical all new drivers will do this but after 2 or 3 weeks when the math doesn't make sense they all see the truth welcome to flex...
If you're a flex driver and would like some tips, leave me a comment and I will respond. I deliver for a DSP so I have experience sorting and delivering tons of packages daily

Mike please stop with the pay per mile stuff, Flex pays by the block with an hourly rate they are not concerned with paying you for mileage
Most of you probably know this but to make money is to deliver the packages as fast as you can. DON"T STOP till your done. The way to do that is have organized your packages to your route of travel and the biggest factor DO NOT let their map route you it will take all over town.

Are you using a bot? I do not see very many blocks
@@alansawesomeketoworld4612 no bots, just VERY busy here in delivering for Amazon Flex 💰💰
Fantastic benefit of the cash out! Also I see around 150 offers.
I'm in Cincinnati, and base pay fluctuates between $18.50 and $19.50 an hour. It is super easy to get blocks paying $22.50 to $25, and occasionally $27 an hour, though.

It takes u 8 hours to make 70 on doortrash it takes u 2 hours and half on flex. If u think about it u wasting more time and miles on dash
I dont know how it takes u so long to make that on door dash
I’m a cherry-picking and I make 23-25 very easily… from 10:30am-1:00pm then 4:30pm-8:30pm $150 per day easily can’t complain about that…
@@itravelalone9464make that in 3 hours on flex 2 routes one at 330 a.m and one at 7pm lol. Love flex

Wtf 8 hrs $70 you trippin i make close to $200 in 8hrs

Its to low $ to be in California gas traffic
Palmdale is terrible too far neighborhood's are bad mountains dogs on the loose. Wry danger tear and wear
Amazon flex, door dash, instacart and Walmart spark are probably a good job to do if you are on cost fire but I wouldn't do them because you still have to worry about helth insurance
It's good as a side hustle. But full time, it's not.
I agree with you on the health insurance and other benefits you get with an actual employer.
When I get off the waitlist, I’ll be prepared. I’ve watched too many of your videos on Amazon Flex. I can’t wait.
A tip you may have never heard. If you shop with Amazon, the next time you get a package, look for the code that will be on the package. If you want to increase your chances of getting a route near your house, go to the Distribution Center the code on your package is from. The code can be three to four letters long
Use a sharpie and number packages! It’ll take like 15-20 minutes but it will save you time in the end. Usually an hour for me. Safe travels!

How long does it take to get off of waitlist for flex?
Thanks for the video. I've been on a waiting list for about a year in Australia. I'll feel better giving it a go, maybe.
In Sacramento they started sending me to 3 to 4 different cities I was doing over 70 miles for a 94
I’m in the Napa Valley area and they started sending me way too far out during certain schedules. So now my fav shift is 3:3-7am, no traffic no matter where they send me
Amazon need to at least tell mileage and how many packages crazy its $78-$126 currently in GA
I got sent over an hour away.. near Canada.. once I got there the route disappeared.. even after/ logging in / out restart phone.. nothing.. drove starlight home after that.. still got paid
In Massachusetts, the minimum pay is $21 an hour
I made $142 for 3.5 hours a couple days ago and the best part it was in my city. Didn’t have to put the extra usual miles on my car
why?
Great! Sometimes it works that way. I don’t like not know where I am going.

The minimum I see in my area is 23 and constantly see opportunities for 25, you get capped at 40 hours per week

Actually, if it takes more time I have always gotten more pay after contacting customer service
If I remember ryte, it was 25 miles
How many miles he put in?
I organize by stop but Amazon has screwed me before by rearranging the stops 🤬🤬

I’m in Massachusetts and it’s 21 an hour.
Baltimore got all the flex offers! But we drive drive out here lls
I sign up for 3 hour block, wasted no time and ended up being a 4.5 block, they sneak it in
lol what is your wage after you take out gas for all the money gas. So if a block pays 74 you waste 15 on gas divide that by 3
I’m in Los Angeles and it all depends how you drive and push yourself I usually get. 3.30 hours for 87 I finish it in 2.30 hours i usually make 200 less the 6 hours daily
a Prius its a key on this type of work or another good mileage car 😊
He got 40 and hour bang!!!.
My first time doing Amazon flex I got chased by a dog And a FedEx driver laughed at me
Shreveport. It’s a new market
If Amazon Flex is at the bottom, what gigs are at the top of your ranking?
Taking $20 an hour orders yikes. I’m usually taking $24-$27 orders than drop off and jump on DoorDash
That’s what I do now Mike
In new york its 90 for 3hour but its really 2 hours or less. U not showing the good batches just the wack ones. Dont knock it. Cause those are base pays

I work for a DSP. I love my job. I also do gig work too. I'm very interested to see the rest of this video as I will be coming at it from both worlds.
I am for $30 an hour
$15 a hour to use my own car?
Bruh if you really want money on Amazon flex deliver groceries
Amazon sucks 2nd 3rd floor down town no parking its bad
