It is the responsibility of the government to take care of our veterans - they have been neglected and ignored for too long - it was bad enough for them both during and after two world wars, but we now know how war affects those who served - there is no longer any excuse for the pretence that this issue doesn't exist; too many veterans homeless, disregarded, and left to fend for themselves

Sorry, but many more than 2 wars. My Uncle is buried in Belgium, killed in WWII, and my cousin, USMC fighter pilot, was shot down in Vietnam War, captured and killed. R.I.P every veteran no longer here, and George, we won't forget you ever❤

I'm so sorry for the loss of your amazing son, My prayers go to you and for all of the tremendous work you are doing. I just think that it is bad that veterans have to rely on charities for the support they need after putting their lives in the line of fire. ♥

So sorry for your loss. Its so sad. I just wish there was more help out there for the vets suffering in silence . The things these soldiers see and go through must be hell on earth. Especially after watching your army bros getting shot or blown up and not getting time to process what happened and just have to get your kit on and go back out kicking down doors. Crazy.🙏

This is hard for me to watch! The armed forces need to look after all who have served even all those who have left.
Things need to change for the better sooner rather than later.

My wife thinks i am big and tough. She said babe you tough you get on with it.. deep down i struggle so much. I google often death by cop. She would never suspect i would think like this.. i hate .. i cant talk about my emotions deep inside. It eat me up. I havent drank in over ten years because my emotions will get the better of me. The military made us this way tough.. but deep down inside were dying.
Anyone else watch this and say what was on their mind in the moment.. 10 minute late feel stupid for saying it.

My sister struggled. She went to group sessions where she would sit and listen to everyone else talk. After a while, she felt comfortable sharing her own stuff.
You don’t have to talk if you’re not comfortable, at least go and listen to other vets in group sessions. You’ll realize how much you relate to the people in that group.
