    Thank you for your video, with regards to resources you mentioned question banks and guidelines, what resources do you recommend regarding brushing up the content for the different specialties. Such pharmacology, endocrine etc..
    Lots of GP trainees were doing different specialties for years before getting into GP training. Perhaps an idea for a separate video? Thanks

    • @doctorroda

      Hi - no textbook, just all based on CKS guidelines. That's enough. It's up to date and best practice. The problems w textbooks is the information may be out of date!

    Asalamoalikum Roda! Thankyou for such a usefull video! How much of cks guidelines did you dive into? There is sooo much on their and honestly I find it overwhelming to go through everything on a particular topic on cks.
    Also how did you attempt contraception? Again I find it very overwhelming!

    Hi there, this is super useful, thank you! What do you think about BNF summarising and how to go about this?

    • @doctorroda
      @doctorroda  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi - I found it nearly impossible to do that! Instead - whenever I was studying a given topic e.g. hypertension - I would cover all the drugs related to that ie ACE- I, CCBs etc - there’s always a prescribing section for each condition in CKS, so that was my main source of drug info. Hope that helps!

      @talakhazim34 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@doctorroda thank you! I always found it a really strange revision strategy! Feels like you’d need an additional couple of months to do it properly 😄 many thanks again!

    • @doctorroda

      Hi Jeanette - I probably did around 2 mocks. Mainly to ensure that I can practice answering questions under time pressures rather than to see how much I knew. I talk more about this in my MCQ technique video.
