Good morning. I just purchased a new home with a built in pool and am looking at multiple videos with everyone testing all different models of cordless pool cleaners. If you had to pick one and money wasn't an issue, which one would you pick? I am asking the same question to multiple youtubers. Thx. Paul.
I've been cleaning my 16K gallon pool since 1998 in Ft Lauderdale and this is way more efficient looking than the Barracudas' I've run in the past 2 1/2 decades.
that's cool but expensive and the price will drop over time. Do you know what effect using this in a "salt water" pool would be and in general how long is the warranty?
I've been using the Beatbot Aquasense for about 2 weeks now and am totally disappointed with it. It arrived just after we had strong winds and quite a lot of sand/dust had settled at the bottom of my pool, though the pool water was clear, so I thought it would be ideal conditions to test it. I first set it to do 2 pool floor runs. The robot started it's cycle and instead of collecting the sand it just sucked it up and blew it straight out of the back vent at high pressure. Within about 15 minutes the pool water was so full of sand and dust that I could no longer see the bottom or even the robot! When cycle was finished after about an hour, I literally had to fish around with the hook to try and find the robot in my now murky pool! When I finally retrieved the robot, the filter basket was clean except for a couple of leaves. - Not good! I've tried it about 8 times now and have concluded that the Aquasense Robot is absolutely useless and the maximum time I've managed to get out of the battery is just under 2 hours (nothing like the 5 hours they claim!) - It also does not sweep the whole floor area and just seems to take the same path over and over leaving large un-swept sections....so much for the claimed AI mapping! The only thing that it seems to do well is brush the vertical walls. I had such high hopes for the Beatbot especially after seeing so many good video reviews (which I now assume are sponsored), but sadly it is just an expensive pool brush that just blows the dirt around instead of collecting it. For context - My pool is in ground 13ft by 9ft rectangular, with glass mosaic tiles.
They saw your comment and asked me to post this information for them. If you've encountered any issues, you can reach out to Beatbot at service@beatbot.com or give them a call at (833) 702-4399 during their operating hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CST).
it looks and sounds AMAZING. unfortunately, much as i would love to get it, its simply beyond my budget like WAAAAAAAY beyond it. thank you for the suggestion though! why knows? maybe sometime soon i might be able to afford it and decide to get one by then. i put it in my "Save for later" in Amazon just in case.
Not a fan. You still have to pull this cleaner to charge it. I'm sure it works great, but honestly, they should have invested in a solar charger on top of the unit, so it can recharge while in the pool and it can continually clean non stop day after day.
@@denoftools Yeah, I agree. It's kinda hard to beat the standard creepy. If they could come up with something that doesn't require charging or cleaning, I don't see these as a replacement.
I purchased this Beatbox and I can’t get access to the App. You need a six digit number to set it up and I’m yet to get the number via my email. Customer service is crap.

I had the contact information and reached out to them. The solution was to use a different email. I did that and I got the 6 digit number. For whatever reason I couldn’t get the six digit code via my hotmail account. Anyway, Thanks for information.
2nd Follow Up comment. I purchased it and on first use, one of the wheels/ track covering snapped off and broke. I sent the video to the company and the company have decided that I return it and they will send me a replacement. Btw for the brief moment, I had the Beatbot, it did not clean the wall or water lining or the surface. I hope the replacement does it all . I will update here.
Kwame . . . after reviewing your comments and as well as other owners, can you offer an update. I'm researching this unit as well as other robot cleaners. Thanks
3rd Update I have received the replacement. And so far, the Beatbot AquaSense Pro; has performed just as advertised; cleans floor, the walls and the water line and yes comes to surface of water and skims surface; like a partially immersed submarine. It also climbs my 3 steps leading into my pool. The clarifying kit also dispersed the clarifying agent. And yes comes to rest at edge of pool for retrieval after cleaning cycle. It weighs quite a bit. I have a bench inside my pool, and it climbed it as well and did its thing. It misses the four corners of my pool (which are curved at bottom); so you will have to brush that manually. Which is not a big deal for me. Cleaning Grade(1 to 10) 10 the best. Floor = 9.5 Walls = 9 Water line = 9 Surface = 7 The App didn’t map the cleaning cycle; I have notified the company and was told, because I have curved edges, and they are working on improving the App. Customer service is excellent. They picked up/ and returned all my calls and replied all my emails. My overall rating/ experience. Yes this machine is very expensive but It’s a good cordless robotic cleaner for a lazy guy like me. I don’t mind doing the minor touch up, like brushing the edges. My only concern is how long will it last, I guess time will tell, since this robotic cleaner is new on the market. So I have officially joined that trial guinea pigs. 😁

How many years/months can this battery expect to maintain its charge strength and clean for the duration of time like it does when brand new? Thanks

now that the pool is ready I’m on my way :)

Cool idea, really, except you would still have to pull it to clean the filter. What it needs is a docking station.
