is there a option so see or show when geometry is intersecting? say parts of a model for a cutting list to check nothing is too long ans just hiding within another part.
@ I was thinking a plugin of some kind that showed intersections between solids by highlighting them for you rather than manually looking as a checking tool
This thing is a stumbling point. I would select different options depending on what sketch up allowed me to do. Couldn’t figure out how the options affected the model. Thanks for the clarification.
Hi. I’m loving your videos. What about creating mitres for curved brick edging using follow along path, or something that applies multiple copies along a path
Up until now I simply picked the different intersect options until I got the results I wanted. Now it makes sense what they each do. Thanks.,
That was handy, I've been struggling (and failing, because not solid!) with solid tools... now I know what works!!

? Just highlight everything. Further, you can give parts different colours, then lower the opacity thru edit.

iPad SKP rocks! Love modeling with a pencil! Please show Intersect on iPad if it’s different.

question. is there a video about:
1. cut a ball out of cube
2. cut a cube out of ball
what should i select first and how ot all works?
It's called "Intersect Faces" in the contextual menu.
Thanks! Know I know why I get the "warning" windows!
Thanks Aaron
Thank you ❤
I wish you had covered "with context" a bit more.
Did anyone notice the 3rd example that Aaron tried to hide at 4:40 🤫😎😁
I use intersect all the time, but I've never seen or used intersect with context.
👍 👍 ❤️
Cool.
Good, although you didn’t really explain with context.
