It was triggering for me even though I’m a female my father sexually abused me before I was ( 2 until I was 4) that man’s comment was disgusting is he also abusing his son and how old is his son if he’s being abused or was being abused hopefully he received counseling I didn’t I’m ( 66 ) now and I still remember everything he did and now that’s all you hear about it’s happening more then ever including babies I just don’t understand why 😢

I wish they had more places like that out there. They said the high rate of teens that were there were apart of the LGBTQ and Trans community. I hope this guy finds happiness with a guy that can treat him the way he deserves to be treated and that is with love and care and no more hurt.

Even if parents do not agree with their son or daughter being gay, they should still live them and care for them. Abandoning them only puts them at risks that end up in tragedy. Those who claim to be Christian or any other faith in God group, most especially should love and care for their children. They don’t have to accept their child’s sexuality orientation, but at least in any Christian group, religion, institution, etc. the commandment is to love.

"Will I ever be that [carefree] person again? The answer is 'no.'" This is so true. It doesn't get better. You DO gain skills that help you cope better! And eventually happiness can shine through at times. But, for better or worse, you'll never return to being the person you were before. When your innocence is exploited, experience is your lot. There's good and bad and grief in that.

No. At the age of 18 after the trafficking, I had enough of him sleeping with other people and I got into a confrontation with him and he called the cops on me. When the cop asked if I had shoved him I said of course and told them about the sexual abuse I had been experiencing since I was a teenager. The officer put me into handcuffs and I went to jail.

Even though it feels weird to be sharing this to a bunch of strangers (trigger warning). But an ex gf of mine did some unwanted things. In our relationship that lasted 8 months. I thought everything was fine and I thought we were happy. All seemed perfectly fine when she brought up the topic of s*x in April. I was shocked to be honest and I didn’t know what to think because she’s never brought up that topic before and we were only 6 months into our relationship. I just felt like I wasn’t ready. But she promised she would be gentle with me because she knew I never done anything like that before. But I felt uncomfortable but I felt like if I didn’t agree with her she would get mad. Before when she would ask to have a sleepover or to hang out and my parents would tell me that we couldn’t and I would tell her that she would say “I wish we could have a sleepover.” Or “I wish we could hang out” so… that weekend we had a sleepover and she waited until my parents fell asleep. And she put a blindfold on herself. She would tell me that I could do anything I wanted to her but I felt so uncomfortable in that moment.. because my ex bf used to touch me without my consent but he never got that far. At the end of what happened we would talk like normal but I couldn’t help but shake the feeling of what she did was wrong. She has a past of getting r@ped and I thought that since that happened she wouldn’t ever want to do that to anyone else. But at every sleepover after that she always wanted to do that. I remember just getting bad stomach pain and I would always tremble when it came to it but she told me “it’s okay it’s just your anxiety. It’ll go away over time.” Or her telling me to breathe and all that. I remember her telling me that we would have to do it at my place because she would get in trouble for doing it there. She called it experimenting. After we broke up I found out from a mutual friend of ours that my ex gf was trash talking me and saying how inexperienced I was and just other things. I didn’t want to hold back anymore and I told her everything that my ex gf did. My friend encouraged me to tell someone but I was too scared…. Until one day after school my mom and dad sat me down after sending my siblings to their rooms. My dad told me what happened and I just remember crying and telling everything. My mom was crying because she had experienced the same thing but never spoke up about it. It makes me emotional talking about this but my parents were proud of me for saying something and telling someone and they’re grateful for the friend that spoke up.
