New Shark movie Under Paris has an INSANE ENDING! | Under Paris Review (Netflix)

Neflix released new shark film, Under Paris (aka Sous la Seine) last week and honestly, it's surprisingly good! and not just in a bad good kind of way. The ending definitely makes it stand out from the crowd but the shark looks great and there's a lot to enjoy here, for a B movie.

What's YOUR favourite shark movie? Mine is Jaws but if I was to pick a newer film then probably The Meg 1 :D

As a Frenchman who dislike Parisian people, I was quite satisfied by the ending.

To me it was a "so bad it's good" film.
Too many things require too big a stretch of the imagination.
Was the Seine used as a dump for unexploded artillery shells?
Did NOBODY know about this massive amount of explosives in the Seine - enough to flood all Paris, destroy bridges ... - and if so, did it take a shark to set them off?
What did all those sharks feed on to grow so large? A lot more people would have 'disappeared'!
People fall into the water far too easily!
High calibre bullets shatter on impact with the water and would be useless!
How on earth did nobody see such a massive, but MASSIVE shark in the Seine? Did it only start attacking boats on the last day?

Yeah the amount of unexploded artillery shells is bizarre. I did a bit of research and apparently there were legitimately a lot of shells at one point following WW2 but they were disposed of. I could be wrong though.
Great point about the sharks. There were so many of them and no established food source other than the missing person in that car and the homeless guys
I think it was very harry potter and the chamber of secrets, where the shark was using the catacombs and maybe the sewage system to move around as well?
But yeah no way the citizens of Paris wouldn’t see a shark of that size!!!

One of my personal favorite Is Bait. People stranded in the flooded aisles of a supermarket with shark lurking. Amazing. Pretty original set up, and soooo much fun. I think I remember the special effects holding up well enough too

I forget the name but the only other shark movie I liked besides a couple of the Jaws entries was about a group who had there boat overturn and ended up on the top of there flipped boat....eventually they had to make a choice cause they were stranded and had to swim for help....I think its supposed to take place in australia....anyway I remember thinking that it was Actually pretty decent.
In my head i thought you were describing Open Water but i don’t think they were on a flipped boat!

Adrift doesn't have any sharks in it. And the boat isn't flipped...they just forgot to set up the ladder before jumping into the water. God, the people in this movie are soooooo stupid u gotta cheer when they start dying

As long as a shark is eating French people and French Canadians I'm in but its not in English. I'm not listening to that language and reading the movie. I'll wait for the American remake.

The english dub was horrible so I did watch it with english subs and it wasn’t too bad tbf. I get it though 👍
