Aiit have a stupid question SK, but i see this a lot. the whole using samples for drums vs using either simpler or drum rack.. is there a legit good reason for using samples?
Sound wise, there is no difference. It comes down to preference. I believe it's easier to swap samples using midi, also for making trappy hihats it might be better to use midi, because you can make rolls and what not easier.
I am from the past. I am still in 2023.
