I would love if u did another channel for covers and kept this one for longer term speaking videos for example cuz I really enjoy listening to u speak and then play but idk if I am truthfully that interested in just covers on my main page, thus it makes me less likely to subscribe. Just saying this to hopefully help u get more subs, your channel is really underrated! ❤
also this cover was great but also maddening in a way, my pop brain REALLY wants that resolution and the spooky notes just hang in the air and make me feel unsetteled. I like that though when music can make me think and feel this much even when I already know the song.

it's a good suggestion for separate channels, but... I'm already 100+ songs in on this channel, so I don't think I can easily separate the two at this point. I wasn't expecting the music theory vids to take off, otherwise I might've started them on a separate channel. We'll see, though! I'll be trying to mix songs and explanatory vids about 50/50 going forward

Was just thinking, I know a successful channel when I see it and if u have a lot to nerd out about you are going to get that 100k+ subscribers in like 5 uploads of longer form content if you remind people nicely and creatively to subscribe and maybe make another channel for upcoming covers so the channels output seems consistent, but I dont really mind the covers personally actually and its understandable that topics have so much you can talk about before being repetetive, just saying so that u would get RICH AND FAMOUS if that is what you would want and feel like doing :p
