I've been using Quad Lock for years on road and mtb. I have my outfront mount reversed which puts the phone right over the stem. Works way better. Quad lock is a bomber setup.
@@ClintGibbs I use it everyday. I wouldn't call it bulky. Looks like it's maybe bigger than the Peak one. Hard to say. you can see how I have mine mounted on one of my last 3 videos.

Hey Clint, how does the universal bar mount fit on a flat-ish top tube? The radius would be different, but I'm considering mounting my phone there for MTB to be a tad more protected in case I take a tumble. Also, did you happen to ask PD if they're planning to make a Slim Link to Garmin mount adapter plate? I'd be very interested!
I did not ask them about the Garmin adapter. As far as a more flat design I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work well. It’s got a rubber mount all the way around so it grips really well.
I smoked a new IPhone 14 Pro on a bike. The autofocus feature quit working, Apple fixed it then it failed again and it was determined to be the continuous vibrations from a bike mount. Lots of information online about camera problems so it’s no longer mounted for me.
While I use an Edge 840 out front, I keep the iPhone in the jersey running the Varia app so I can get the sound alerts in air pods. The Edge 840 also has music controls. Do the Peak cases disable the MagSafe charging and mounting?

I've been using the same strap for years. I have the Sony A7 III and the strap works so well with it. Even with big heavy lenses.

@@sparks6666peak is a lot thinner and it snaps on and off so much easier.
You can use the out front mount with a Garmin mount. Just face the out front mount backwards. The phone will be over the handlebar stem. Works great.

Yes, very easy to do with one hand. I do it all the time.

I don’t use MagSafe but I use wireless charging and it works fine through that.

Would be able to do that with the bolt on mount ( not the quick release)
It says the case is magsafe with apple chargers ….but may not work with 3rd party ? Have you had any issues with wireless charging?
No issues. I wireless charge my phone through the case every day.
