@@JurijsJutjajevs Indeed, I have used it during the startup phase to remove excess nutrients. I keep a few just to help with the next tank. It is these little hints that help us that are new to the hobby to a successful start, so once again, thanks!
Thank you Jurijs for all your work on this! As I noted in MJ’s part one video, the residents of this facility will certainly appreciate all your efforts. What a great setup!
MD and Matt used to by my favourite because of their passion and energy. Loving this collab even more. Very clever of you guys to release part 1 on one channel and part 2 on another. Really nice thought of helping each other out. You both are very artistic, have excellent choice of background music, editing and keep the talking less to let your work speak for itself. Please continue this collab. Love your work!
Really enjoyed watching you and MJ work together again. And thank you for explanations throughout both videos. I am still learning, always learning I suppose, and it helps so much. One thing I dont think I will ever master is planting with tweezers. I have tried long and short ones. I've watched countless tutorials. I can go in substrate but when I bring out, plant comes out. Every damned time. You guys do it with such ease. Tank turned out beautiful and I'm sure the residents there will enjoy for a long time.
Hi Jurijs it’s a pleasure to see you back on TH-cam with another beautiful video. I have been your follower since 2019 and I really love your work. Cheers!
@@JurijsJutjajevs No I follow you every time you post a video. It just seems to me that you're back to posting more often and I'm very pleased! Obviously I'm also happy to follow you on Instagram. 😎
Great finish Gentlemen, Bravo! Still thinking about Mark's look when all the plants came out in one big clump, video part one. Priceless 😃! I hope if I ever have to go to an assisted living facility it has Aquariums to lower blood pressure and relax me. Maybe some colourful Barbs Cherry or Tigger.
Powder blue gouramis would be nice too (IMO)! I was also visualizing this tank with 8-10 ranchus, which I think will look pretty dope. Would love to know what you think @JurijsJutjajevs. Sorry I'm still learning, not sure if they'd be best suited in this planted setup with given water parameters.
Appreciate the feedback. Ranchus need a lot of open space and sharp hardscape should be avoided. And since they poop a lot, gravel substrate that can be easily vacuumed.
When I was watching the video and you reached the part what to plant to the focal point @ 4:03 my first thought was Nymphea Lotus would be just perfect. And that was your choice as well!😊 It just made me smile 😊😊. Excellent video - as always!😊
Hey Jurijs, habe mich auch durch deine Videos fürs Aquascaping interessiert und hätte eine Frage zu deinen Fischbesatz. Gibt es nicht eine Einführungsphase in der man die Fische noch nicht einsetzten sollte? LG Damian
Limnophila aquatica is a Super Easy plant, as long as you have water & nutrient it will grow, with light of course. It can also grow as floating plant, the growth rate is crazy like duckweed. This seem like a challenging task, having 2 sides to be considered instead of the usual 1 on the front.
I like this version very much! The Cyperus helferi is the perfect alternative for the Vallisneria. I think a pair of Apistogramma cacatuoides would be a good choice to complete the fish
Came here from Part 1, which I clicked first, totally on accident. 😅 Excellent job, as usual. 👍 I also planted a bit of Cyprus helferi recently. I'm going to take your idea and plant some Cryptocoryne balansae and Blyxa japonica with it. 😎
Very interesting video . Thank you so much. I didn’t know it was possible to rescape with aquasoil adding fishs and shrimps the next day even with a mature filter. No problems with ammonia spikes? Which was the initial water change frequency?
I just finished my scape and you have me thinking of another scape. I'm not allowed to get another tank! 😂 Maybe a pearl gourami as the center piece fish.
Limnophilia as a helper plant. 90% of us has this as main plant 😂. Thanks so much for doing this, spreading knowledge is truly noble!
Grows way too fast as regular plant. 4 weeks in and I have already trimmed 2-3 times 😅

Thanks for you kind words. Regarding use of tweezers: plant dry. Plant vertically and pull out tweezers sideways at approximately 45 degree angle 📐 😉

It’s undeniable we had a lot of fun making the scape 😅

Sparkling Gourami 🐟

Nice and easy to maintain.
Ist wieder recht schön geworden das Aquarium! Man könnte vielleicht eine Gruppe Schmuck- oder auch Phantomsalmler mit einsetzen.....😉
Guter Tipp! Ja, die würden mir auch gefallen

already trimmed the Limnophila 3 times in only 4 weeks 😅

Oh yes, some nice dwarf cichlids 🙌
Great idea to have two videos split between channels. Also noted how did you wrapped CO2 sensor (?), my guess this prevents from extra re-calibration?
Ph sensor wrapped in wet paper to keep moist. But shortly after I removed it and simply put the solenoid on a timer.

The thumbnail might tricked you 😜 im curious to see how the plant combo is going to work out long term.
I will be interesting to see, yes. Somehow, Vallisneria never works for me so I need to find alternatives.
I think I want to try the Eriocaulon sp Japan Needle Leaf
Very interesting video . Thank you so much. I didn’t know it was possible to rescape with aquasoil adding fishs and shrimps the next day even with a mature filter. No problems with ammonia spikes? Which was the initial water change frequency?
Mature filter + microbe Lift products can handle it. Initially 50% wc every week

@@JurijsJutjajevs I'll tell my husband that JJ says I can! lol
you guys have done fantastic job really awesome actually but i think the previous was also pretty good!
let me know your thoughts as well
Previous was overgrown. Crypts took over and undermined the carpet, same with valisneria. It was no longer sustainable to keep plants apart.
@@JurijsJutjajevs yaa that make sense
Add some busy Corys
No sand area, not ideal for Cory
should add a gaint koi beta!
Great idea, I will consider it
How much space should we leave to avoid betta fish from jumping out
Use a lid to be safe. Otherwise 5cm maybe 🤔
Any update about 5yrs old river stream tank
The one from Sebastian with dbl bottom? It’s been sold a while
Ago. I think it’s now located at the ScapersLounge and has been rescaped 🤔
