Kedarkantha Trek is one of the most popular winter treks of India. It’s a easy to moderate level trek which attracts visitors for its amazing snow-clad
landscapes and a tall summit (12,500 ft), which offers majestic panoramic views from its top.
Kedarkantha trek passes through dense pine woods and trekkers even enjoy lakeside camping at Juda Ka Tal campsite, which remains frozen during the winter months. Perfect coniferous jungle trails, plain meadows and summit point - all in one trek. While you won’t find these many
features of landscapes in any other trek, Kedarkantha will definitely give you an exposure to each of these.
Those who love snow and mountains, this trek is undoubtedly the best choice for them.

Hey everyone!
My name is Jaydip Bhesaniya, a filmmaker and photographer from Ahmedabad, India who has been volunteering for Invincible NGO over the last two years. Last year I went to Kedarkantha, Twice! Which changed my whole perspective about landscape photography. I fell in love with everything this place has to offer in winter, the snow, the mountains, the frozen lake, and my personal favourite, the night sky!
I wanted to share beauty of Kedarkantha through Photographic Journey with you. With travel being out for a little while, I wanted to take you on a virtual tour across my process of documenting beauty of Himalayas, a place where I find peace and solitude amongst nature. Most of all though, I hope this inspires you to do more adventure stuffs. Step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and invite new experiences. For me this was journeying into the mountains during the peak of winter and to perform with full energy at high altitude with freezing cold 🥶 haha!
