- Downtown has been a home for the homeless living in tents and behind the buildings and along the streets in this area.
And It is getting a little chilly in the morning.. This is really sad.

Thank you for having the time to show are wonderful city , I know is not perfect but is much better than other cities, and we have to appreciate where we live. 😊
I have been to a few cities and Edmonton is definitely a lot better. :)

Never seen it so deserted looking. Must be early AM. Halfway through and I haven't noticed any tents or homeless, maybe I need to rewatch or watch the rest?
I am not trying to demonize them
But i am sure more than 90 percent of them are drug addicts or mentally ill or both, they need to be sent to rehab by the government and help them do something in life
Some of them are actually taken to Alberta Hospital Edmonton, psychiatric hospital.
From the people I know who are homeless (currently on the streets), Most are just in a unfortunate predicament (no homes, no family, have jobs but no homes), Sure you get the occasional addict or ones with mental issues but that's only about roughly 30%. Spend some time getting to know em before you speak.
Edmonton has some of the most affordable housing in Canada, and with decent employment. If you can't make a life for yourself there, good luck. Yes, some people have mental illness, but many create their own problems with booze and drugs. They need to spend their money on therapy instead of intentionally seeking out an addiction.
Why does it seem like a ghost city? No one walking outside
This was taken around 7am in the weekend. It usually looks like this that early.

Why make a video that makes the city look like ghost town? Edmonton is bad but not as boring , depressing and dead as your videos make it look.
As someone in the tourism business you did the city a disservice with posting this😔
Instead of just driving around taking videos of homeless people (AKA the most vulnerable). Why dont you try helping them?
I did. One person at a time. And still thinking of ways to help more. :)
Maybe you can invite them all to your house and give them free meth.

It's a dashcam, it would be on anyway and what if he titled his video, "A Short Tour of Downtown Edmonton"? Would that make you feel better?
